Saddam Hussein was dangerous. He had the ability to make weapons, at the very MINIMUM. For the soldiers who are listening:This is excellent speaking directly to the boots on the ground.
David Kay came back and said Iraq was more dangerous that we thought.
And this tops it off. The soldiers are doing what is righteous and Bush has let them know that David Kay after investigatin has arrived at that conclusion.

Tim is garrulous and friendly w/dems during interviews. He's stern and asks unfriendly questions /conservatives. Count on it. That's his MO.

Thanks to you, Peach and others for these snippets... Waiting for the broadcast at 10:30 Eastern.
Sounds like Timmy pulled out all his liberal guns and talking points... While I know Bush could be pushing back on the employment numbers with those counter-valing statistics, but I think it's impossible to put up competing sources of numbers from different agencies/polls without it looking defensive. He can make that case later -- and hopefully after the jobs picture starts to pick-up.
Fox News is OK -- more garbage from Juan, but otherwise uneventful.

I have a question: Why does Fox strive for "fair & balanced"? No one else does....

There was a recent commentary about how everyone around Kerry props him up because he is so ponderous of demeanor and speech. That the excitement at the rallies is always for the supporting actors and not for Kerry who seems to suck the energy from the room.

(So there.)
To: Amelia
TR: Why are you seen as divider, not uniter?
GWB: Don't know, disappointed. Atmosphere in Washington hard, hard to find common ground. Working hard to unite country. Don't attack, try to lead.
TR: Unfavorable ratings with Europe.
GWB: R. Reagan was unpopular in Europe too. Good company. When you ask hard things of people, some are unhappy. Not going to change; owe it to American people to say what gonna do and do it. Not going to change because of polls.
TR: Trailing John Kerry in polls. Kerry says colleagues are appalled at President's lack of knowledge; he's manipulated as Ronald Reagan was.
GWB: It's politics.
