SANAA, Yemen, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- A purported statement by al-Qaida in Yemen warned Saturday of a "major strike" soon in the United States.

The statement, distributed by the Yemeni Tagamoo Party for Reforms, said: "A major strike, a big event will take place in America soon," reminiscent of the Sept. 11 attacks.

I find this story interesting Cindy. Have you heard of other airports doing this, or is Denver the first?

If so, I wonder why?

Yes.

I've been the victim twice of serious car crashes and the best glass is the glass that breaks, but doesn't go flying in your face and hair, and skin.

It takes about 2 weeks it seems to get all the glass out. All those tiny pieces.

Regional Terrorist Groups Pose Growing Threat, Experts Warn
By RAYMOND BONNER and DON VAN NATTA Jr.

Published: February 8, 2004

AKARTA, Indonesia, Feb. 7 — The landscape of the terrorist threat has shifted, many intelligence officials around the world say, with more than a dozen regional militant Islamic groups showing signs of growing strength and broader ambitions, even as the operational power of Al Qaeda appears diminished.

Not sure but I found out through Missouri that a ballot without the candidate's name will be thrown out, every state has different rules, so no movement in my state (Illinois) will even be acknowledged, therefore it is a vote that will stand for nothing.

Freeper Missouri already has had his primary and found out for his vote to count he had to use someone on the ballot, he chose the constitution candidate. So yes, I'll make some sort of statement in the primary but I had always left the general open personally -g-.

There was only one Democratic candidate cabal that would have clinched me not voting for Bush, but it sure is not Kerry. I hate Kennedy I mean Kerry (intended). So I'm off to research this weekend state laws varying write-ins etc.

And I won't commit until I've done a very thorough research
The one thing that has me thinking though is Tancredo himself is urging us to support "W" against Kerry.

There is a FReeper that sells the film for the airport windows, he was on the fire threads or maybe it was the war threads, as I recall.

He answered a bunch of questions about the film and his company was in Iraq selling it to the hotels, etc.

From his conversation, it appears that it does work and keeps sheets of glass from becoming flying knives.

Delicate Dance for Musharraf in Nuclear Case
By DAVID ROHDE and TALAT HUSSAIN

Published: February 8, 2004

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, Feb. 7 — Almost from the moment he took power in October 1999, Gen. Pervez Musharraf heard about serious problems with Abdul Qadeer Khan, the prominent Pakistani nuclear weapons scientist who this week issued a tearful, public confession to selling nuclear secrets around the world.

Wonderful...a timely product and a product in time.
Let's hope there are more innovative people out there
making products to prevent/reduce the affects of terrorism.

There was only one Democratic candidate cabal that would have clinched me not voting for Bush, but it sure is not Kerry.

Lieberman?

I'm really torn. And I'm mad as hell. It seems like my choice is to see how fast we are going to flush the country down the toilet. If the Dems win, it's probably a done deal in 10 years. If GWB wins, maybe 20-30 years. I have a bad feeling we are going to have a Dem in the White House soon; if not next year, then in 2009. The country is way too polarized and brainwashed. Just about every potential leading Dem candidate is a frickin Socialist/Commie. If we get a Dem as President, we are sunk for sure. But it seems to only be a matter of time before that happens.

What infurates me is the Republican strategy of co-opting the Dems by basically acting like a Dem. Wow, that's great you took the wind of the sails of the Dems by becoming the Democrats. What's the fricking point? Ooooh, we got someone in office with an (R) next to his name instead of a (D). It's the same result to our country. We're turning into socialist hellhole one way or the other.

The only thing that makes me hesitate from voting for a third-party candidate is our national security. I feel like I am being extorted into voting for Bush because any other choice would be certain doom for our country. If I vote for GWB, I feel like I am endorsing his terrible budget and amnesty plan (which is a huge national security risk itself). I'm going to have to work through this angst sometime soon. I just don't know what I'm going to do.
