SANAA, Yemen, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- A purported statement by al-Qaida in Yemen warned Saturday of a "major strike" soon in the United States.
The statement, distributed by the Yemeni Tagamoo Party for Reforms, said: "A major strike, a big event will take place in America soon," reminiscent of the Sept. 11 attacks.

Concerns that militants might assemble a bomb or another weapon on board were a key factor in the series of recent cancellations of transatlantic flights. Last weekend British Airways stopped flights from London to Washington and Miami for fear of an attack and Air France also cancelled scheduled flights.
Wish we had British news here!

That depends on the available jobs and whether the employer is agreeable to hiring people who are around 60 years of age or older.

BTW, anybody know what those pics are of at NEIN?Looks like they might be from the "Riyahd" videos. I've only been able to grab #1 and #2, #3 and #4 were corrupted due to timed-out downloads. Daleel's video links are not accessible either. :(
FReepmail me if you would like to grab copies of the first two videos from my server. I am not going to publicly post the links, I don't want to get swamped like the other two sites that are serving up the six videos. :)

Updated: Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004 - 2:43 PM
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "NEW YORK (AP) - FBI agents and police from D.C. and New York will be heading to Russia in the coming days, to see what they can learn from the terrorist of a subway there.
Thirty-nine people died and more than 100 were hurt when a bomb went off Friday inside a Moscow subway car. Authorities blame Chechen rebels for the deadliest attack in the Moscow subway system.
FBI spokesman Joe Valiquette points out that both D.C. and New York have subway systems, and that both cities are considered prime targets for terrorists."

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "DENVER (AP) - Denver International Airport is taking steps to reduce the number of people injured if there were a bomb blast in the terminals.
The airport is going to install a polyester film over the terminal's windows that would prevent glass from flying through the air if there was an explosion.
The Federal Aviation Administration is paying the estimated $800,000 cost.
Many government buildings and other major airports already have their windows covered in the film, which is glued on."

http://www.washingtontimes.com/world/20040207-112217-7305r.htm "Suicide bomber suspected in subway blast"
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "MOSCOW (AP) Russian officials again called for tighter security checks in Moscow yesterday after a subway bombing killed 39 people, but their demands could worsen ethnic tensions as Muslim rebels from Chechnya were blamed for the attack.
Officials strongly suspected the Friday morning rush-hour blast was a suicide bombing, and President Vladimir Putin implicated insurgents fighting Russian troops for Chechen independence for most of the past decade.
Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov said the bomb appeared to have exploded about 20 inches above the floor, indicating it was in a bag or briefcase held by a subway passenger."

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1073775/posts Coast Guard works to protect US from terrorist attack (detailed info)
The Coast Guard has 361 ports to protect, 95-thousand miles of navigable waterways to defend and 20-thousand oceangoing vessels to keep an eye on.
On July first, it must begin enforcing new anti-terrorism rules mandated by the federal government.
To comply with the Maritime Transportation Security Act of 2002, the Coast Guard is focusing on what it considers the most likely maritime targets of a terrorist attack. It's identified nearly 12-thousand of them.
About 32-hundred of them are on shore, things like oil refineries, nuclear power plants and other sites that use or store hazardous materials. 8500 others are on the water ferries, barges and cargo ships.

I don't know how it is in Idaho, but in CA things are really picking up, companies are hiring.
You may try to take a look at possible employment, maybe things started to change with the new year in Idaho too.
