SANAA, Yemen, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- A purported statement by al-Qaida in Yemen warned Saturday of a "major strike" soon in the United States.
The statement, distributed by the Yemeni Tagamoo Party for Reforms, said: "A major strike, a big event will take place in America soon," reminiscent of the Sept. 11 attacks.

Sounds like a bunch of teenage riffraff. How can they even breathe Nat Turner's name, they probably do not even know who he is!

Checking out the Moscow Times for this week (13th - 19th) shows our "friends" the Russians, with the typical greet them warmly and then stab them in the back they've always shown toward us:
End Game
The Bushists have only ever had two methods of masking the truth of their extremist ideology: sham and blood. Now that the sham is unraveling, their only choice is war.

His group was called "The Agitated". They published and sold enough of their CDs to cover all the studio costs. They were regulars at "Club Mill" in Pocatello. My son eventually decided to shift to playing guitar. He was performing some jaw dropping stuff from "Guns and Roses" recently. Quite a shift from his drumming skills. He builds custom PCs for people as a hobby. I've had computers in the household since 1980. The kids have had access to e-mail services since 1983 when we ran a UUCP network on Xenix around the house.
I found some music books and some software that tremendously accelerated my son's guitar playing skills. I can ask him for a reference if your son or daughter is interested. I sat first seat in the trumpet section from 4th grade until 10th grade when I swapped band for a chemistry class that I would need to get into UCSD. I also played baritone and french horn as necessary. My 20 year old has my "good" trumpet in San Diego. He sat first seat through high school as well. The Marines assigned him to bugling duties while he was in boot camp.

Railcars that heavy have a lot of inertia. They don't just get set in motion from "vibrations". SOP for the brakeman is to connect the brake hoses, open the angle cock valve, verify that the brake piston has pushed the shoes onto the wheel (and within the travel limit indicator), then release the handbrake. Before a car is allowed to break free from a train consist, the handbrakes must be set, angle cock valves closed and finally the coupler is released.
The consist on this train was purposely constructed of items that aren't normally permitted to be mixed AND the standard procedures were violated on a whole group of cars...not just a simple oversight on a car or two. It's hard to believe that it wasn't an deliberate act.

Not my bankcard. Went to Costco and thought about the people sickened at the Costco in Salem and the people sickened at the Safeway nearby and prayed as we entered. Also used Purell when we got back to the car. After that shopping excursion, the bankcard is empty anyhow. We never do hear about causes for a lot of these mystery mass illnesses.

More internal terrorism it appears:
Pipe Bombs Found At Osceola Home Wednesday Feb 18, Authorities in Osceola County are waiting for bomb experts to help them secure several pipe bombs found at a home near Intercession City. Seven devices were found on Sundown Drive, just off South Orange Blossom Trail. That's near the Osceola-Polk county line. The pipe bombs were made of galvanized steel and PVC pipe. The Orange County Bomb Squad has been called to the scene to assist Osceola County officials. It's unknown how long it will take to disarm the devices.

For all who want to know why our borders aren't secured: ENVIROWACKO ALERT!!!!!!!!
California Coastal Commission Rejects Plans For Border Fence
California regulators on Wednesday denied a Department of Homeland Security's request to fortify the westernmost stretch of the U.S.-Mexico border, setting the stage for a possible legal battle between the state and the Bush administration.
The California Coastal Commission, in a 10-0 vote, found that the harm the project would cause to sensitive habitats outweighed the security benefits provided by filling in canyons and erecting additional fences along the final 3 1/2 miles of the border before it meets the ocean.
"The operation might succeed, but the patient might die," Commissioner John S. Woolley said.
The U.S. Border Patrol insisted the fortifications were needed to deter illegal border crossers and protect its agents. They said they planned to challenge the commission's ruling.
"It doesn't end here," the Border Patrol's Michael Hance said.
The ruling could delay plans to start construction next year on the final phase of the $58 million fencing project. Nine miles have already been fenced.

I have the jihadi assassination manual (courtesy of the original Daleel) which diagrams this particular technique.
"First the Saturday people, then the Sunday people."
