SANAA, Yemen, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- A purported statement by al-Qaida in Yemen warned Saturday of a "major strike" soon in the United States.

The statement, distributed by the Yemeni Tagamoo Party for Reforms, said: "A major strike, a big event will take place in America soon," reminiscent of the Sept. 11 attacks.

Threat Matrix Daily Terror Thread

Intro:
The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research .

You are right NR, some of the white supremacist groups a re allied sympathetically with AlQ thinking they will get their all white nation out of the deal. I do not understand why any race feels the need to 'identify' what they are.

I recall reading it on Thread II, but didn't give the thought a lot of credence. I still don't. Why waste a nuke on an untested theory with uncertain results, when you can blow a nuke up in Mid-Town Manhattan and pretty much wipe out a large chunk of the largest city in the United States and kill perhaps a 100,000 people or more with near certainty.
