I just called COSTCO and told them the info and said I wrote "COSTCO is anti-Bush" on the back of my card. Also said that if Bush is defeated, the card is trashed.
Informed them that there was a movement on FreeRepublic to put out the word. She asked for the website.
All please call! 800-774-2678

Sam Walton supported Bush Sr.

Wallmart/Sams supports the Clintonista's...now Costco as well... As does Bill Gates & Steve Jobs & a whole pile of Wall Street types. The Dems are the party of the average working guy

Also, find out who the board members are, and the key shareholding companies. They need to know that the actions of their employees (CEOs) are going to cost them business.

Call them - 800-774-2678 - them will email corporate and membership functions in COSTCO. The service representatives are very interested in this.

No way I'm going to post any of the other photos. I agree with your initial EWWWW.
I am not now, nor have I ever been, a member of Costco.
Now I have to tell my sister who IS a member to turn in her card and get her money refunded. She loves that store so it will be difficult.
If you want to know about backdoor contributions to the KERRY campaign, do a search on his PHARMACEUTICAL companies connections. Be sure to include his brother Cam as well as his lovely and demure wife, Teresa Heinz-Kerry. Very interesting.

I love it too so I will not immediately tear up my card but will shift a lot of my shopping to SAMS meanwhile giving COSTCO heck about the position. On my card I have written "COSTCO is ANTI-BUSH" in permanent marker. Should be a conversation starter anytime the card is pulled out.

FWIW, Microsoft is currently GWB's 11th largest contributor for the 2004 cycle with $162,450 in donations.
Wonder what would happen if Gates ever decided he wanted to try being Governor of WA or even Prez.

Tell your sister that all is not lost. I was a Costco member until I found SAM's and saw lower prices, better selections, and a lower annual membership fee.

Well, crap. I had been going to the one in Shawnee Mission for years now. I'll be cancelling my membership in the morning.
No way will I support a retailer that doesn't mind Iraqi children and women being murdered by their leader. From the article, it sounds like Costco had no problems with the idea of Saddam Hussein and mass graves. What jerks.

Michael Jordan was pretty smart. From USAToday archives:
"Back in 1990, when Harvey Gantt, a black Democrat in Jordan's home state of North Carolina, was in a tight Senate race with Jesse Helms, the right-wing conservative Republican who cut his political teeth as a race-baiting segregationist, Jordan refused to take sides. "Republicans buy shoes, too," he said then."
Costco CEOs (don't they know CEOs are evil in lib-land?): Republicans buy things, too.

Now I know why all the teachers get courtesy Costco cards.
Never been in one, never intend to go into one!
