Having worked for a Harvard MBA (best boss I've ever had) years ago, it has never crossed my mind to "misunderestimate" W.

But Harvard now cozies up to Al Franken, go figure.

There is simply no way on earth that the son of the then-Ambassador to China, or anyone else, could have coasted through Harvard Business School with a gentlemans C. I never, ever heard of a case of an incompetent student being allowed to graduate, simply because a certain family was prominent. On the contrary, I did hear stories of well-born students having to leave prior to graduation That does say alot about W's credentials.......

I have no idea of W's grades but much of what Rush said is BS. Having gone to one of the top schools in my discipline, I can assure you that the hardest part BY FAR is getting in. Once you are there, you will graduate unless you TRY not to! That's my experience. Top schools don't try to weed out students. They want their money and take pride in a very low attrition rate. There are plenty of jobs for all graduates of the school. No need to cull the herd.

Wonder if he was using his MBA when he under calculated by 30% the cost of Medicare in his budget?

The link to the original article is not working for me. Could you correct this? I want to get the original article to pass on to others. Thanks.

This makes me feel much better. I've always known these things about Dubya, because I have worked for large corporations with HBS-MBAs at the helm and I recognize the traits. You also can't watch the man very long without figuring out that he's a "poker player".
Lately, I've been doubting my assessment, but having someone else (who DOES have a MBA) come to the same conclusions makes me a lot more comfortable.
I guess I've been beaten around the head too much by the Bush Bashers. I should never doubt my first instincts.

I was at a SB party on Sunday when Jim Nantz was interviewing W before the game. The guy sitting next to me said "Bush is so stupid". I wanted to take my chair and smash it over his head. Of course, I was outnumbered, being in a house filled with government workers and DC public school teachers....
I'm really gonna lose my temper with these arrogant jackals one of these days. I know as conservatives, we pride ourselves on 'taking the high road', but there's only so much more I can take.

I heard a caller talking about Harvard business school, but it must have been after Rush read the letter.

While I congratulate President Bush for getting an MBA from the Harvard Business School, that's really like AAA baseball.
My son got his MBA last year from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University - which is rated significantly better than Harvard.

***One of the secrets of a successful poker player is to encourage your opponent to bet a lot of chips on a losing hand. This is a pattern of behavior one sees repeatedly in George W. Bushs political career***
That pretty well sums up Bush's way of handling the liberal socialists.

The dims are out like a pack of ungry wolves trying to bring GWB down. I have to say that at times it gets scary, but I'm not ready to count W out yet.
Keep hope alive.

This article is far too long for the average liberal to read, and far to complex for the average lib to understand.
Conservatism is not for the stupid.
Liberals are just fine wallowing in their own ignorance.
