My MBA is from the University of Connecticut so I can only partly relate to this article. I will tell you that the 3.2 that got me on the Dean's List as an undergraduate English major was the bare minimum for simply avoiding expulsion from the program at UCONN.

There were no stupid people who finished with the degree. The only stupid people I met were the, mostly, liberal arts grads who thought it would be a snap to get a business degree. One Theater major comes to mind. He had gotten his BA the previous May and thought he would "pick up" an MBA to help him in the career in Theatrical Production he had planned. I met him as he took Finance for his first course. My professor was a former Assistant Director for the Federal Reserve. He was tough and didn't wait for anybody to catch up. Mr. Theater never came back after the first class.
