[history]
I did not body-slam a protestor at a Dean rally in Manchester as Vincent Morris wrote ("Al Franken Knocks Down Dean Heckler," Jan. 27). Mr. Morris made no attempt to reach me before publishing his story.
His description, "Franken emerged from the crowd and charged one male protester, grabbing him with a bear hug from behind and slamming him onto the floor," is a complete fairy tale.

"A: "No. I'm neutral. But I'm for freedom of speech, which means that people should be allowed to assemble and speak without being shouted down."If freedom of speech "means" not being shouted down ... does it also mean, to the shouter, if he were being interviewed, that freedom of speech "means" shouting without having a speaker interfere.
I'm confused.

I'm confused. Well, expecting consistency from a liberal is like expecting Clinton to tell the truth! ;)

Fox made a big mistake by elevating this loser. If they had ignored him, his book would have sold 20 copies. But because Fox News objected to the book publicly, it became a best-seller. Too bad.

Yeah sure, best seller....like Hitlery's book was a best seller. Some of these craven people like Franken have been known to hire U-Hauls and go from store to store buying up their books to hype sales to get on the best-seller lists.

I know quite a few libs who have purchased Franken's book and think he is the funniest man alive.
None of them have purchased Hitlery's tome.

Not to worry.
Not less than fourteen minutes and fifty-five seconds have passed since this pathetic girly person first appeared.
And, insh'allah, his last role will be Caw -- and his last script will read:
CAW: The crows are no longer calling my name.

Ha! Al the Lying Liar is caught in his own lies. Sweet! Most likely the Lying Liar letter to the NY Post was an attempt by Franken to avoid a lawsuit by the guy he tackled. I figure the guy he tackled could take Franken down for several hundred thou....maybe even over a million. Yes, this time I am in favor of SOAKING THE RICH!!!

The guy he tackled was in on it from the set go. It was a publicity stunt to get Frankin's name back into the news - and back on FR too.

The DNC buys a lot of this drivel for gifts, too.

Q: Are you a Dean supporter? A: "No. I'm neutral. But I'm for freedom of speech, which means that people should be allowed to assemble and speak without being shouted down."
Q: So you wouldn't have done it if he didn't keep shouting?
A: "I would have done it if he was a Dean supporter at a Kerry rally."
Ah, but would he have assaulted a Dean supporter at a Bush re-election rally?
