Clinton & Clinton - To maintain their hold on the party, Howard Dean had to be destroyed
Wall Street Journal Opinion ^ | February 1, 2004 | EMMETT TYRRELL JR.

So, no sooner does Sen. John Kerry emerge from the New Hampshire primary as the Democrats' fragile front-runner than word gets out that Bill Clinton was flying down to Washington to plan the Democrats' return to the White House, and at this "high level" meeting Sen. Hillary Clinton would join him. What is this all about? Are the Democratic presidential contenders not capable of sorting things out on their own? Two, after all, were coaxed into the race by the Clintons, Sen. John Edwards and Gen. Wesley Clark.

Why so many fear her is beyond me.

The media will wrap her in a cocoon and her socialist handmaidens-in-waiting will turn out like there is no tomorrow.

Not a bad bunch. We need conservative voices. But these problems didn't happen overnight and they are not going to be reversed overnight. I'd like to add to my remarks on Post #77 - This country is not what it was, nor ever was the way some posters claim, but it is immeasurably better than the rest and to keep it safe, Bush is fighting anti-American terrorism, at home and abroad. If he has to throw money at the American people to be reelected and continue that fight, then I say, do it! It is money that will be paid back in full and then some.

Yes it definitely will be but if we just all don't get sidetracked with all the stay at homers and the 3rd party pushers, I believe we will win.

I don't rail against those who complain,I complain.I rail against those who see no problem in a dem being in the White House because Bush isn't conservative enough...

Kerry is a Kennedy lefty.

I think Bush is by far the best candidate, even with all the spending, illegal infiltrations, lack of enough border patrols.I don't want a dem in charge of national security, acting as CIC,in charge of immigration or the budget.

Back when polls were high and we were having fun posting all red maps except for Vermont and DC.,I said complacency is not a good thing in any election!

Don't worry ,we'll fight the good fight,Bush will get into campaign mode more and we shall prevail.

It's amazing that we can put man on the moon, robots on Mars, topple despots and conquer nations but can not stop the Clintons. Simply amazing!

Very appropriate. Some people are easily led into thinking that to save America, we must destroy America. That sort of thinking plays into the hands of our enemies.

May 2001 - "Iran and Cuba, in cooperation with each other, can bring America to its knees," Castro said at the University of Tehran. "The U.S. regime is very weak and we are witnessing this weakness from close-up."

Jan 27, 2004 - Iran and Castro: October surprises***In parallel with this ongoing but still mostly unrecognized Iranian covert action, there are reliable reports of numbers of Iranian-supported Hezbollah terrorists infiltrating into Iraq from their bases in Syrian-occupied Lebanon. It is quite likely they are planning massive terrorist attacks on U.S. forces for the spring, summer and fall of 2004 as well as the taking of U.S. hostages.

These hostages would likely be made available to the media with the intention of demonstrating the failure of the Bush policy and of creating public sympathy in the U.S. for an immediate withdrawal from Iraq.

In the Americas, Mr. Castro has been using a deceptive political strategy and long-established relations with radical leaders who are not formally communist to establish a new axis with governments friendly to him. These now include 231 million people ruled by Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, Lula da Silva in Brazil, Lucio Gutierrez in Ecuador and the shadow power of Evo Morales and Felipe Quispe in Bolivia, who recently removed the elected president.***

The NEA has been good for LIBERALS. Look what public schools are turning out these days. If we can go back to the Moon and on to Mars, it could change the educational decay in this country. If the Left has their say, they will keep us in orbital decay around Earth.

A return to the Moon to create an Earth-Moon highway will forever change our ability to explore. Learning how to use resources off-planet will revolutionize space travel. We must get back to the Moon before all those other countries that now have her in their sights.

You're all getting worked up over nothing. Hillary Clinton will never be president. Even if she ran, she couldn't win.

Kerry's a smart politician with Kennedy behind him, and that machine is at least equal to the Clintons'. Kerry is going to win the nomination because the alternatives are too dreadful. (Dean, Clark, and yes, Hillary.) There will be no contest.

Her boy Clark is no threat to Kerry, and without Clark she can't even become the veep candidate.

She's aging fast and looking downright unhealthy. By the time her resume makes a presidential run plausible she'll be retiring for medical reasons.

Lots of Democrats detest her too.

So forget her. She's just a bogeyman, she can't hurt you.

Any democrat in the White House would be a disaster. Hillary is the "unnamed" democrat the polls go bananas over.

"I feel like I'm watching a horror movie, imagining this. "

Imagine the UN changing its rules, and Hillary as president and Bill as Secretary General -- a nightmare.

I don't want a RAT in there, either. The lesson learned from that is two disastrous terms of Billdo Klintoon. However, the other lesson is not keeping our guys honest soon enough. George Bush the Elder was off track even before he hosed himself by reneging on no new taxes when he signed the ADA into law in mid-1990. He followed that debacle with his cave-in on taxes, and then by signing the 1990 Clean Air Act, the 1991 Civil Rights Bill, and the 1992 Cable Reregulation Act.

The other guys are awful, especially with Kerry now saying that he going to return to the Clinton policy of treating terrorism as a law enforcement issue. Nevertheless, we cannot have our side running amok just because they're not as bad. There's got to be a way we can get this President's attention before he follows his father's path to electoral ruin.

If you read my posts, you'll see I am concerned and I do hope for a wake up.He did lecture the congressional retreat on fiscal restraint today. The dems immigration proposals are worse.

I will vote for W because I believe he is the best man for the job.I don't say he's perfect..just much better and I do trust him with our WOT and our military. In the meantime he needs to hear from us,too.
