If these polls are accurate and hold over the coming weeks Bill and Hill will be in a PANIC MODE

Look out Kerry

"If these polls are accurate and hold over the coming weeks Bill and Hill will be in a PANIC MODE"

UNLESS......it's part of the strategy.

The American people don't know Kerry too well, they don't know he's an idiotic gigolo for instance.

and Bush has been flipping off his base. Hopefully both of these will be changed.

Repeat: OBL is in custody already. I have it on good authority that bin Laden is being grillled for info right now. 'Nuff said.

That would beat all.

I read an article this morning from SF Gate that had some gubmint officials claiming with surprising confidence (as in 'it's a done deal') that OBL would be captured this year. No doubt in their minds. I found their confidence surprising because nothing's a done deal 'til it's a done deal (the meaning of my tagline), which leads me to believe that OBL's in the bag like you say.

Where does your "authority" say that OBL is being held? Is OBL enjoying his taxpayer-paid vacation by sharing a cabin with David Hale next to a bait shop on a lake in Arkansas?

I wouldn't put too much hope in "dirt" on Kerry. We kept waiting for Bush I and Dole to unleash "dirt" on Clinton in 1992 and 1996 -- never happened. And had it happened, there is no indication that the general public could have understood what the "dirt" was all about. People have to be led around by their noses and have everthing explained over and over. That's the way Reagan conducted his political outreach -- took simple points and repeated them over and over for the benefit of the American sheeple.

Hopefully those 11% who view him as a conservative will get some edumacation.

One possible scenario: the old Lincoln quote will be disproved in 2004: "You can fool some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time." Before it's over the Democrats may figure out how to fool at least 60 percent all the time.

How do you know that the call was in fact from the Republican party? I find it hard to believe.

"I don't buy any of these polls which show Kerry ahead, simply because I doubt many of the voters even know who he is, let alone his record."

Bingo! They do not have a clue and they are not going to admit that to a pollster. It's a joke.

Thanks for the ping! Worthless, worthless, worthless poll. Taken the day after NH even more worthless. Took the press almost 24 hours to report that Bush won in NH in the print media -- they treated it like he wasn't on the ballot. Heard more about McCain being in NH for Bush then Bush winning.

Anyone that believes the accuracy of this poll needs to see me as I have some swamp land for sale in Arizona! That is how ludicrous this poll is right now.

Fox News Poll results tonight:

Bush 50% Dickhead 42% and this has more credibility than Rasmussen and also before the smarmy asshole's comments about the threat of terrorism as "overexaggerated" (which is also a perfect term for nitwit's personal opinion of himself)

Bush will ask for more money for something.

Rush Limbaugh predicted Friday that Bush will join his fellow Methodist Hillary Clinton and ask for a "compassionate" extension of unemployment benefits -- by what, I guess, another 13 weeks. This will help the Democrats more than it will Bush.

Put no faith in the "dirt" on Kerry? The definition of "dirt" has changed since 92 and 96. In those elections we were looking for sensational, gossippy-style dirt.

The "dirt" of the post 9-11 world comprises treasonous acts, unwillingness to protect America and willingness to sacrifice American autonomy. Kerry will sink under when his patriotism is called into question.

Worries about the economy will indeed sway public opinion. But economic news prior to Nov. 2 can be as influential as "war" news, or new immigration policies in the same time period. (So many voters are so fickle.)

Radical conservatives will flee from Bush at the same levels that radical environmentalists and peace activists flee from Kerry.

All this, of course, does not take into account "hanging chads", etc.

It will be an interesting drama from now until election day.

No matter whom we choose to vote for, I hope that every FReeper has put in November 2 as a vacation day, so that we have as many eyes in the polls as possible.
