We can no longer count on the "truth" coming out about candidates. Even when the information is "out there," many in the public do not know this or cannot understand what all the controversy is about. Many vote on the basis of their "feel" for a particular candidate.

I don't see the trend for leftist democrats anywhere. So far the house, senate and governorships have trended towards republicans. The only anti-Bush sentiment comes from the far left. But were going to have to put up with this polling banter for 10 months until Bush squashes ketch-up boy...ugh.

Even when the information is "out there," many in the public do not know this or cannot understand what all the controversy is about. Many vote on the basis of their "feel" for a particular candidate. Well this information will effect how many people "feel" about Kerry, when the truth gets out there.
I believe it will undermine what is considered Kerry's strength and electibility factor. That being a Vietnam vet gives him credibility to challenge Bush in the area of national security.
The truth is Vietnam vets resent Kerry for what they see as his betraying and smearing them upon his return and conversion to the antiwar side, throwing OTHER's war medals in protest(while keeping his own) and EVEN being associated with Jane Fonda and her infamous antiwar effort.
How many people know about this stuff? People haven't forgiven Jane Fonda yet. How do you think this will effect Kerry's war-hero vote?

There's no substitute for keeping your base happy. Bush 41 never learned that. His son appears to be just as clueless. That was so smart I thought it should be said again.

I have no way of knowing ,of course. The caller gave a speel about our low standings in the polls and asked if I would listen to a taped message from Tom Delay. I listened, then he asked if I would be voting for Bush and the Republican candidates. I said no, he didn't ask why, and I didn't
say.
He thanked me and told me to have a good evening. That was it. Surely others have had a similar call. Anyone?

Do you put much credence in Tom DeLay's recent claim that the Democrats are leading in the races for the House and Senate at this time?

How's YOUR candidate doing in the polls? Funny you should ask, as it turns out I don't have a candidate this time around.

I disagree on that one, better to extend unemployment then to fund the NEA of send AIDS money to Africa. Bush has to show that he is plugged in to the plight of people who have lost jobs, its one of his weakest areas. politically, extending unemployment is a better move then $15B to Africa.

Thanks. I have been in such a terrible mood since the Dem candidates have been all over TV. I can't stand to listen to them or look at them. I want them out of my face. I want to win this election so they will have to scurry back to the shadows. Hence the screen name. ;o>

OBL isn't in custody. We're going to grab him when he gives the keynote speech in Boston this summer: "Kill the infidels. Vote Kerry. Allah be praised."

About the news that Osama bin Laden has been captured:
You may read one of my sources Here . Scroll down. That very detailed report is posted in bold. Down a little further are news reports showing Saddam's links to al Qaeda. More reports are coming in every day.
Sorry about not replying sooner. I was away most of the day yesterday.

The more I read of his stuff, the less I perceive any "heart" in it, and the more it seems like he's working off a script. Make of that what you will.
I understand. And I truly hope GW comes to understand that your best friends are seldom or never the people who always tell you just what you want to hear.
