So, not so long ago I decided to put up the money and buy myself a subscription to Rush Limbaugh's web-based subscription service. When Rush decided to call it "Rush 24/7," he was not kidding.
Soon after I made the well-priced purchase, I found that I could then watch Mr. Limbaugh deliver sports commentary on ESPN. This was an unexpected addition the subscription package.
One morning, much to my surprise, I found that all of the morning news shows were talking about Rush. FOX, ABC, NBC, CNN, and MSNBC were all reporting that the conservative talk show host had made some sort of 'unnecessary' comment relating to sports. The 24/7 subscription was beginning to live up to its name.
Another morning soon thereafter, I went outside in the warm Florida weather to get my morning paper. I was shocked to see another benefit of my Rush 24/7 subscription. On the front page of the paper was a headline that read, "Rush on a Limb." After going to the local grocer that day, I was able to see Rush on the front cover of many magazines, papers, and I even saw a headline relating to him on one of those goofy papers that nobody reads. Rush Limbaugh and his team of people had gone out of their way to make my 24/7 subscription worth the money I put towards it.
All of a sudden, Rush was beginning to appear every where. We talked about him at work. They talked about him on HBO's NFL show. All of the local radio shows had information about Rush. I even got to see the Rush 24/7 Dittocam played on many of the local and cable news networks. This was incredible.
I saw Rush on the cable channel E! because he had made their 101 Biggest Celebrity Oops! list. Out of all the celebrity mistakes made, Rush had made their list. Luckily, former impeached president Bill Clinton did not make the cut. Surprising as it sounds, I did not want Bill infiltrating my Rush 24/7 Subscription.
Even recently I was able to see Mr. Limbaugh's attorney appearing on talk shows, radio shows, and in the paper. USATODAY.com had posted a whole biography on Rush including his salary, birthdate, place of birth and all sorts of great information on my favorite commentator. Rush 24/7 was no joke and well worth the money I had paid for it.
I had no idea exactly what Mr. Limbaugh meant by 'Rush 24/7' until now. 24 hours a day and 7 days week you will literally have no choice but to hear about Rush, unless you never turn on the TV, never read a paper, never read a magazine, and never turn on the radio. Rush 24/7 lives up its name and it is the best purchase I have ever made.
