Thanks. I'm waiting on it now. I certainly wasn't expecting that. It was a surprise.

Wow, I wish I had known it was that easy!
I've been trying to get through to Rush for 10 years. A long time ago, I wanted to invite him down to an airshow in Oceana for a personal Tomcat walkaround. Now, I would just love to shake his hand.
Good work!

I don't recall a post with such exquisite timing and playing off of current events and Rush's own passion and his trials and the trumped up charges surrounding him.
The title is totally appropriate and your article hits a grand slam home run after the poor status Rush gave us a couple of days ago referring to FR as a "chat" room or board.
So how does it feel winning the equivalent of the Masters golf tournament and having the credibility not to ever have to qualify @ Augusta ever again?

I am completely blown away. I really, really, really, really didn't expect what happened. I just wanted Rush and other conservatives to know that we're tired of this Bravo Sierra. It is probably the single biggest accomplisment of my life.

Now, I would just love to shake his hand.
I had the opportunity to do just that... at his TV show in NY, November 12, 1992. Rush even autographed my copy of "The Ways Things Ought To Be". Short version - My wife and I flew from Pittsburgh to NY solely for dinner and the show that day (late afternoon)... In and out of NY same day.
Words cannot convey how much I admire Rush... the average person, myself included, cannot fathom how good he is.

Oh my, you're standing over the sink peeling the spuds for tonight and talking to the guy doing some kitchen formica work and all of a sudden your ears pick up "Free Republic" and you drop everything and stick a plug in formica guy's mouth and you hang over the little static-y K-Mart radio on the counter to drink in every word and then, wow, a freeper actually comes on and starts talking and you swoon with ecstasy and formica guy thinks you're a nut case and you don't care a hoot.
Life is so darn sweet some days.

Great job... both the post and your presence on the Show. You are 110% correct, Rush has "Passion"... that cannot be faked, especially when you consider the stress he must be under at this time. No mere mortal could do what he does, for as long as he has done, as well as e has done it.
I, too, am awed at Rush's abilities and accomplishments. I've had the honor of meeting Rush, obtaining his autograph and admiring his efforts since 1989 (I think, it's been a long, long time). My workday, especially at lunch or when I have to drive anywhere gets arranged around his Show. I take a portable radio to restaurants or I eat in my car at the fast-food joints.

He has made a difference in so many lies and continues to broadcast despite the smearing and lies that goes on today. Calling Dr. S. Freud!
I laughed when I read that, but I will say Rush certainly had made a huge difference in exposing Clinton's lies over the years. That's the only thing I miss about having Clinton as president. All the fun Rush provided with the parodies. I really miss that.

I wish you could have heard him, too, onyx. He is a very well spoken young man!! I think we should get him into some kind of political office. Washington state needs another good man!
