for sure, this is the type of attack they are capable of. and since we apparently didn't actually catch any of the suspects the last time around, they are still out there, have had time to get new identities and papers, and could be ready to board the flights again.

just like last time, we ought to divert all these flights to canada for the next week.

Post 3- A pulled post here on FR that said something about rumors in the Washington Beltway of a terror plot that had been uncovered.

I missed that thread; was it posted today? Do you recall any of the substance of the article, what the terror plot was/is? Also, (sorry, don't mean to play multiple choice) do you know why the thread was pulled? Thanks.

Those are vintage photos of a French nuclear test in the Pacific from way back tball.

Their credibility is NOT shot if nothing occurs in the coming days. Why? How many people know about this threat? Not many, ask around, I bet you get strange looks from most people.

Posting a date and time for an attack is NOT AQ's MO. This time may be different, we will see. I think everyone is too focused on specific dates. When you look at everything in the bigger picture, you should still be concerned about the near-term... but focusing on a specific date has rarely gotten anyone anywhere.

Is this time different? Should we expect an attack by the time the "clock" runs out? Only time will tell. I believe the current threat is very real and I would be extremely hesitant to breath a sigh of relief on Feb 4th when nothing has happened.
