Just and FYI on the severity of this storm and all results from it. Hope no one here on the Freepers site was endangered by this snow storm.

It's all GWB's fault. Somehow...

What ever happened to global warming? Oh, yeah, Algore says it is causing it to be so cold!

He's wearing the same suit and tie two days in a row.

If only GWB hadn't stolen the election, Algore would be Supreme Ruler of all the Earth and all would be perfect.
Now excuse me, I have to throw up.

I think you may need to double those totals by Wednesday afternoon.
This storm looks similar to the one we got here in Connecticut on Dec 9th......18" and very cold.

Now, be nice, no body over here wants 18" of snow.
At least not those along I-75!
And that weather man is wearing the same suit! LOL
I did read about that tornado, that was a bummer!
To: BooBoo1000
I can't tell you how bad it was, but I can tell you we're in the middle of a thunderstorm down in Alma, Ga that started about 10:00 a.m. and it's been damn near pitch black since 2:00 p.m. It looks eerie to say the least and the temp. has dropped literally 35 to 40 degrees since 10:00 am.

Wow, suggestion, go to store, stock up on last minute items, and wait the storm out. I sure hope this stuff ends soon. I imagine storms are a bit worst along a river and an ocean....
I'm on a river,, and normally we'd have ice storms, but the ice missed Covington, and hit Louisville!
We lucked out, our snow is melting with salt, and the roads are open! People are still being cautious though!

In Athens, about an hour east of you, we have a little ice on all the trees and cars. This morning someone even fell down the flight of stairs outside my apartment because the stairs and rails are sheets of ice. We haven't had any precipitation today though but I see a big blob of stuff headed right for Atlanta and Athens on the radar right now.

Darn that global warming. If the global temperatures weren't increasing, the weather wouldn't be so cold.
