MIDDLE EAST: Louis Attyiat-Allah, an self-proclaimed Al-Qaeda ideologist, has warned that a massive Al-Qaeda attack was pending and criticized Middle East television channel Al-Jazeera for not airing all of a recent speech by Usama bin Laden.
In the recent issue of the Al-Qaeda biweekly magazine "Sawt al-Jihad", Attyiat-Allah said a possible future attack on the same scale as 9-11 was coming. He described it as innovative and would come at a time completely unexpected.
Attyiat-Allah said western analysts would be unable to predict when the attack could occur, because it would be "unimaginable in the normal way."
"It will be bigger, in the sense that the loss from which America and the Western World will suffer, because it will be very big and immeasurable...due to its greatness, it will change the global power balance," he said.
Despite making these warnings, Attyiat-Allah did not say what his sources were. The comments have not been authenticated by U.S. or allied intelligence sources, though more than one analyst told EmergencyNet News that "the threat seems to be in keeping with previous Al-Qaeda doctrine." Many U.S. government intelligence analysts believe that "Sawt al-Jihad" and other alleged Al-Qaeda associated websites and mailing lists largely consist of "misdirection and misinformation."
Also in the magazine article, Attyiat-Allah said he was upset that television station Al-Jazeera did not air a recent interview by Usama bin Laden in its entirety.
I felt angry at al-Jazeera channel for cutting the speech from over 40 minutes to 14 minutes only, because it is very clear that this is one of the most important speeches of the Sheikh," Attyiat-Allah complained.
"It is clear that this is a detailed, political speech, and that the Sheikh read it from a paper which was prepared beforehand... in my personal opinion, this speech, in its essence, is a speech [about the] future," he added.

Senator Robert(not john EFIN) Kerry back in '98 wanted us to get rid of some nukes so Russia would do the same since Russia could no longer control the many thousands they had. Then the US and Russia agreed to destroy some tactical nukes, we did and so did Russia then Russia reniged. Then we had to spend 400M$ to help Russia destroy some of their strategic nukes while China sits looking like the cat that ate the bird.

We have an interesting situation here. Some of the things we did in the 1990s (and earlier) to set the future tone for a peaceful world had lofty ideals behind them. These gestures are like money in the bank. It's not quick cash we can pull out at a diplomatic ATM machine, but it means something. Once we found that certain realities weren't what we expected, we were able to quickly pull away.
I'm thinking of three things in particular: the nuclear protocols between us and the Soviet Union. Very good -- and showed a strong level of maturity on the part of both military organizations.
Second, I'm thinking of those "reductions." They were a mistake in retrospect, but they showed the world we were serious about peace. I want 10x the production of what we had before those reductions today, but that's only something we can do without offending the world because we can say we tried.
Third, I'm thinking of our belated intervention in Kosovo. A tactical liability it has turned out to be, but a strategic net win history will give us. We can now say that we tried. We really tried. (Of course we should have moved sooner, but don't you think that was "Old" Europe's responsibility?)
It's not easy being a superpower. It comes with heavy responsibilities.

I think it's about time some JDAMs dropped in for a visit to Al Jazeera."And, in other news, Al-Jazeera headquarters was leveled today by an apparently accidental blast from a bomb factory in the basement...

Just a quick question, how the hell is duct tape gonna help you? If we got bombed, duct tape ain't gonna do a damn thing. The sticky side is good for picking anthrax out of envelopes. In sufficient quantities, it can be used as a radiation shield. If you wrap it around buildings quickly enough, you can keep them from collapsing for a few extra minutes.

I believe the reduction was in order, we can still destroy this planet with what we have(how many times can you run over a dead rabbit)now we have to figure out if the Ruskies and China are serious or deceiving us.We have given China MFN trade status and a lot of technology that might come back and bite us in the ass. I am not so sure everything is hunkydory at this time, we may be in for the surprise of our life, literally.

Honestly speaking, I think America's days of playing Mr. Nice Guy are over for about, oh, 200 years. You can never have too many nukes.

You know, every time these guys renew their sabre rattlin', I can not help but recall that one eposode of the Rockford Files, when, after discovering that the Feds have once again locked him in a room for one of their "talks", he tells the Agent "Has it ever dawned on you that one of these days I might just go tapioca and toss you out the window?"...

I just finished reading
this news story before I saw the article you posted. Here's the summary: A middle eastern looking man who spoke broken english was taking photos on the grounds of a BASF chemical plant in Freeport, TX. When challenged by a security guard, the middle eastern picture taker shot the guard and fled. The plant has a large amonia tank. I'm not sure exactly where Freeport is in relation to Houston, but I've seen rental units in Freeport for the Super Bowl advertised as a 30 minute drive to the stadium.

World Affairs Briefs...by www.JoelSkousen.comm excerpt:...
'The evidence is quite compelling that the so-called fall of Communism was a carefully crafted fraud in order to increase Western aid and trade, as well as accelerate Western disarmament. KGB defector Anatoli Golitsyn confirm this in his book New Lies For Old, but there is much specific and current evidence as well...'

I did a lot of reading on Russia since midnight, some stuff was scary. Some of the old timers still in power and how they perceive us. Also the ultimate goal of communism and how the art of deception is used to obtain a goal. Also some reading on Red China.Which makes one wonder where AQ may get some of their finances.By any chance would any of that reading have been done at:

Yep, heard of Golitsyn. He may be twiddling paranoid tendencies to make a buck, but then again he may be right.
