Though Bushs State of the Union speech occurred at 3am in Britain and 5am in Iraq, on Wolf Blitzer Reports on Wednesday afternoon CNN correspondents had no problem finding Britons and Iraqis angry about it. Europeans find the President's talk about God and good and evil very scary, sniffed Walter Rodgers before trumpeting how analysts here say that alienation is not going to change until Mr. Bush leaves the White House. Rodgers insisted that the alliance has been badly shattered by this President, and by the unilateralist policy. From Baghdad, Michael Holmes relayed: The attitude very much, we don't know what the President said, and quite frankly, we don't care. Nonetheless, Holmes proceeded to convey the views of three Iraqis angry at Bush. One declared: The President speaks of freedom in Iraq, but we are not free, we are occupied today by another country.

"Jumped the shark" ? I didn't know this expression. What does it mean, exactly ? Is it like "dropped the ball" ?

Rodgers insisted that the alliance has been badly shattered by this President, and by the unilateralist policy. Funny, I could have sworn the Brits were fighting at our side in Iraq.
To: FlyLow
I actually saw this - and it was even worse than described. I wanted to smack Rodgers' jaw.

Though Bushs State of the Union speech occurred at 3am in Britain and 5am in Iraq, on Wolf Blitzer Leftist Journalist Reports on Wednesday afternoon CNN Clinton Legacy Network correspondents had no problem finding Britons socialist poofters and Iraqis Saddamite henchmen angry about it. Europeans Third World losers find the President's talk about God and good and evil very scary,... One declared: The President speaks of freedom in Iraq, but we are not free, we are occupied today by another country instead of enjoying the benevolent dictatorship that committed mass genocide, raped our women, and looted our assets.

Europe is unhappy? Well I'll just have to crawl under the bed and assume a fetal position (yuk, yuk). As for those dissatisified Iraqis, yes it sure was better living under one of the worst tyrants in history knowing that at any moment security thugs could drag you off, pour kerosene down your throat and light a match. I guess the stupidity of some of their citizens might be the Iraqis biggest problem. Come to think of it, it's one of our biggest problems too.

Unfortunately CNN has a major presence internationally. As the world gets smaller, what will it mean? You can't escape them in airports all around the world and I trust they are available to homes in most corners of the world.

Unfortunately CNN has a major presence internationally. As the world gets smaller, what will it meanIt means that CNN needs to be charged with being against world peace & inciting anger. Then their global plugs need to be pulled.

CNN would lose its relevance if elected Republicans and administration officials would boycott the network.

Why is talking about God, good and evil - bad???? It just goes to show how secularism has obliterated any morality in this world.
