(Phony) Kerry/Rescue-ee 'Surprise' Reunion Well Planned

John Kerry took reporters for a ride in Iowa, and it wasnt just while he was taking stabs at President Bush for landing on an aircraft carrier as he himself flew around with the press in an helicopter over the corn fields.
The reunion scene in which Kerry seemed completely stunned at the site of the Vietnam pal he rescued during his war days must have been enough to give the Grinch himself a case of the warm fuzzies.
Kerry rescued Jim Rasmann after heavy enemy gunfire, before going on to become one of the wars biggest protestors. The two hadnt seen each other since.
But, according to the American Spectator, Rassman contacted the Kerry campaign days before the celebrated "reunion rally.
Well, the Kerry Campaign isnt stupid. After being flown to Iowa, Rassman just happened to be standing smack in the middle of a press gaggle when Kerry "spotted him and the two hugged.
It was about as moving as a slow-motion scene from a 70s movie, except everyone knew about it days ahead of time.
"It was a wonderful, moving moment," says a Kerry volunteer. "We were briefed on it before the event, and told to steer cameras to a certain area. Reporters knew about it in advance, and so did Senator Kerry. We don't leave anything like this to chance."
Kerrys "surprise lasted well into the day.

Reporters knew about it in advance,
I knew this "surprise" meeting was too good to be true, but with the press being in on this, one has to ask whether the media has become the lapdogs of the Dems. (yeah, I already know the answer.)

Obviously learned this one from the Clinton camp...
Climb in the wayback machine and return to Bubba's visit to Normandy.
He was strolling through the cemetery there and came across some American flags that had been knocked over. He knelt down and stood them upright. Find out later that some Clinton staffers had gone through the cemetery earlier and knocked them over so Clinton would have this photo-op.
He was also strolling along the beach at Normandy, found some stones in the sand, and arranged them in the shape of a cross. Find out later that the stones were placed there by a Clinton staffer so Clinton would have this photo-op as well.
Either way you slice it or dice it, they're both full of sh*t.

Let him have the photo op. He served his country, risked his life, and saved this man's life. God bless him for that. We are grateful for what he did as a young man.
Now, let's talk about what he is doing to hurt our nation and our commander in chief as we are waging a war on terror and defending Western Civilization.

I see your point, but the trouble is that photo-op is and will be used to obscure all those other valid criticisms. You and I know better, but the masses will eat this up, and it could cost this nation dearly.

C'mon it was billed totally different from how it happened. He's a phoney and should be ashamed.

He earned the right to have his little phony photo op. Now, let's skewer him on what he did with Jane Fonda and what he is doing now.

Did you get this upset when the Bush advance team covered up all the Made in China labels on the shipping boxes and had Bush give a speach in front of a backdrop that had Made in America all over it? Isn't that the same thing?

Well, IMHO, anyone who didn't think this "surprise reunion" WASN'T staged, needs to take their blinders off.
This was a no-brainer.
