When Dean Loses Iowa, will the Deaniacs Riot?

When Dean Loses Iowa, will the Deaniacs Riot?

Well, well, well . . . John Kerry and John Edwards. Winners. And look at the blond Soft-Ball guy on MSNBC, congratulating Howard Dean on finishing THIRD.

The only Democrats who were in play for the White House in the last decades were SOUTHERN Democrats. Folks didn’t even have Edwards in play here, and now, even if he comes in second, he’s a big, big winner here, even if some folks try to say the Iowa caucus has no meaning as far as the nomination.

In this case it does.

Second place for Edwards, coming on strong, is a big win for Edwards. And, it looks like a big win for Kerry as well.

No. This is a big win for both, and in this case the Iowa caucus DOES have legs as far as influencing the nomination, unlike the past. Dean and his weenies where suppose to be the big weiners. They weren’t, and won’t. And it makes me think, maybe the Democrats aren’t so stupid, after all.

My only question is, you had these Deaniacs from out of state coming into Iowa, the ones I would call the “foreigners”, and what sort of maniac would fly from California and Oregon and Washington, just to do volunteer work for Dean in cold, cold Iowa? Answer: Left-wing maniacs. It reminds me of 1968 Chicago and the Eugene McCarthy motley crew, with their young faces and stupid straw hats and eventual sad faces sitting on the floor of the hotel, as if the “Farewell America” speech is the end of all freedom under the boot of Amerika, and then the Oscar Mayer Weiners start to riot. Of course back then, the maniacs waited until Chicago. But maybe the Deaniacs will start it early, right in Iowa. I mean, think about it. The same ilk as the McCarthyites, same young faces, “anti-war”, yadda. It’s like 1968 all over again. Only, maybe they will start the riots early.

They say Dean will still win in New Hampshire, will have a good showing. Well, so what. In 1968 McCarthy came in second, but close second, to LBJ in New Hampshire, and was thus declared the “winner”. He was a loser. The whole “anti-war” McCarthy crowd, buttons, young faces, all losers. And, that is what the Dean bus is, the same as in 1968. Losers. Who’s gonna’ win? Follow the money. Which candidate has raised the most money? Only Rep. John Connolly who raised more money than Reagan lost in 1980, but basically, follow the money. Is the money still coming in for Dean? I predict you watch it start to drop, now that we are going live. Don’t tell me about the “broke” Kerry, and the others. You watch them start getting the money, and the Democratic Party bosses are going to shake this up because they don’t want a Dean, they don’t want a McCarthy, to lose it all. Dean is a loser, so watch the dog snap their leg like a chicken bone.

the stupid University Professors in Iowa said that Dean and Gephardt clearly separated themselves from the others – that is what the Political Science dept in University of Iowa said – they were suppose to be the big winners. Well, as usual, the left-wing professors are wrong.

The Iowa caucus never catapults anyone. That’s what they say. Unless. Unless, you happen to be a Southern Democrat. If you’re Southern, and show good, it can. It can catapult you into the nomination like it did Jimmy Carter in 1976. So watch Edwards.

I think there are a lot of similarities to 1968 and 1976, here. I see the Dean, and the Deaniacs, like Eugene in 1968. I see them losing in the end, and the Democratic Convention a monster of a shake up, murder in the streets if you will. And, don’t be surprised if the Deaniacs start to riot, albeit small riots. “It was all a frame job!” they will scream. They will cut into and attack the Democratic Party, itself.

This is going to be a whale of a year. Ok, maybe they won’t start to riot early. It might be a few months. Or at the convention, itself. And then Humphrey steps in, maybe with the name Hillary? It’s a wild weasel. Look out for the Deaniacs, who will sing “Farewell America”, first with tears, then anger and idiocy of the “Move On” (move out of) America crowd. Losers.

You’re a loser, Dean. Stick your chest out, and bump into an old lady.

Agreed. The guy will never be President cause he always looks like he's on a bender and he's short.

Big disagreement here. The way I see it, the kook left hates Bush so much that they're willing to elect someone who doesn't agree with their views if it means kicking Bush out of the White House.

Good post....and I think correct.

They say Dean will still win in New Hampshire, will have a good showing. Well, so what.

Agreed....he goes from there to getting the living shit beaten out of him in South Carolina. (Pardon my Kerry)

Dean and Gephardt clearly separated themselves from the others

They sure did. I'm sorry to see dean melt down so soon. It will give the dims a chance to regroup with a stronger candidate and there will be less canabalizing between them.

What a shame he lost! I thought he was so very representative of the Democrook Party. Would have loved to see him destroyed in the General Election.

The Deanie babies must hate the heartland just as they did in 2000, and as an ex-Granite Stater, I must add that they can't count on anything in NH. It seems that the folks in NH sometimes vote to make a point, not to select a candidate.

Iowa has historically nominated more moderate democrats in the caucus. Dean and his hate-America rhetoric can actually galvanize the base in some states like NH and other dem bastions. He's not out yet as only a couple of Iowa winners have gone on to the nomination. The most important state IMHO is SC in 2 weeks when Dean has to survive.

I actually picked Kerry over a year ago because I thought he had the money resources to win, although I did not know he planned to mortgage his paintings. My other prediction is that Kerry would once again prove why America has not elected a northeastern liberal since FDR.

Oh my! I guess that Rob Reiner/Martin Sheen/Baptist Church in Plains Georgia dance went bad......

Somehow I knew Hollywood spouting off in Iowa would turn Dean into Meathead!

I Don't have the stats in front of me but one of the media pundits said something like the following:

of the last 12 or so Caucuses only one Iowa winner has gone on to win the Presidency

And only 6 went on to win the nomination.....

Iowa is the beginning of the winnowing process but it's only that.... the beginning.

...like NH and other dem bastions.

NH is absolutely NOT a dem bastion (although the border with Mass should be mined to stop infiltration which is destroying the state). NH is succeptable to voting for the local "townie" , which in this case could be Dean or Kerry.

Okay, I will give you that NH is not a dem bastion. I think a revised statement might be that the democrat base in NH is very liberal (as opposed to a state like Louisiana) and the Deaniac filth loves the angry message.

It's too cold to have a riot in Iowa, or New Hampshire. It will have to be a virtual riot, on the Internet.
