Susan Estrich was on Alan Colmes radio show. Live. Just a little while ago.
She said she'd known Kerry for 25 years, before his marriage to Theresa, during his divorce, while he raised his kids, while he dated starlets (Colmes interrupted here and said he got around a lot didn't he and Estrich said he did date a lot of starlets). Said she has heard that he married Theresa for money. Colmes asked if she believed that and she immediately said yes.
She seemed to reconsider because she said she believes everything she hears. But she assumed it may be true.
She said the Boston Herald has been all over Kerry for years about his personal life. The reports are that he cheated on Theresa before, during and after their marriage and he gets around a LOT. She said he's not quite the guy that "Bill" was. Colmes interjected "Clinton". She said "right".
They both kind of laughed. She said, but we're friends and although he doesn't connect with people, Edwards does and it would be a great ticket.

Now on Drudge:
Stinging from his third place finish in Iowa, which robbed him of his frontrunner status, Governor Howard Dean tonight gave a red faced concession speech in which he vowed to go all over the country fighting to defeat George Bush. He named the states in which he said his campaign would fight, and as he rolled out the names of the states his face became red, his gestures sharp and angry. For a few moments, it appeared Dean had slipped into an unnatural state... Developing...

Finneman, Matthews and the MSNBC are having a RIOT.....they are openly mocking Dean. It was hilarious. Dean was ranting and raving like a madman, and they were practically hooting at him.

Was he in Vietnam?
Hmmm.. who knew!

Thanks :)
I get sick of listening to the same shows sometimes, and this is new.
Mike Murphy on Nightline: Dean in trouble - his speech tonight was "maniacal."
To: mylife
Yep...and "fighting"...Dems are always "fighting" and "leading the fight". Then why are they such cowards when it comes to fighting terrorists?
Now he's whining about our "relationships" with the world.
I can't wait for Bush's response in a debate if Kerry is nominated..."so, you want the U.N. and France to have a veto over protecting our country"? Game, set, match.

Also, I can swear I heard it correctly. I was shocked as well, because Susan says she has been friends with Kerry for 25 years.
With friends like that, who needs enemies?
I'd never heard a word that he slept around on Theresa, although I remember well that he was a houndog before THeresa. I don't get the Boston Herald; perhaps someone can do an archive search? I don't know how their web site works.
Any Boston Freepers you can think of who might have input?

What happened to her breasts?
I've always found this strange...women's breast seem to change size depending on what they are wearing. Are they secretly inflatable and deflatable?

I was focused on Kerry's speech. That delimited the scope of my comments. Kerry has enough complexity in his record to give him some maneuvering room. But of course he is a liberal. Most Dems are. That is why despite perhaps our differences on this and that, we both are not. The one thing about Dems these days, is that they manage to allow Pubbies to have a rather large tent.
