The President had a very busy day today, leaving this morning for New Orleans, Louisiana, appearing first at a roundtable discussion on faith-based initiatives, then at Union Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church where he spoke to faith based and community leaders, and finally at a fundraising luncheon at the National D Day Museum.
He then traveled to Atlanta, Georgia where, accompanied by Coretta Scott King and King's daughter, Christine King Ferris, he placed a wreath on the tomb of Martin Luther King, Jr. on what would have been his 75th birthday, and this evening is at a fundraiser this evening with Democrat, Zell Miller, who will be campaigning for the Presidents reelection this year (Go, Zell!)
Enjoy this MUCH needed visit to Sanity Island as you revel in your Daily Dose of Dubya!!

Laura looks just about perfect in this photo. I love the cut and color of her suit.

I dunno, Gretchen, there was an older lady that a Fox reporter interviewed who said she'd DEFINITELY vote for him (and most of the protesters looked awfully white to me).
Changing one heart at a time......

Go, Zell, indeed, Salvation.
He was on Hannity's radio show this afternoon, and is going to be on H&C tonight.
He thinks the Dem candidates are NUTS........and he's right!

Hey, why worry. A few pills will straighten it all out!
This man is as crazy as a loon. He needs truth serum, anger management, and on most days, a straight jacket.

Saw the New Orleans event today. Wonderful speech, though I hate to call it a speech. He was so earnest, and passionate about the faith based programs. I love when he speaks to these groups. He is so natural and relaxed, it really shows.

Heat wave here per weather.com. 15 (but it supposedly only feels like 3, not that I'm going outside to check). ;)
Thanks for another great Dose, btw!

I asked the Moderator to delete my space-hoggin' double post.
FR has been double-treble+ posting like crazy. I hit Post again because the screen never changed to indicate the action "took."

WOWEEEE.....NICE Pics....OWF....THANKS....It must REALLY fry a certain "Jesse" and his cult followers to have the President loved among a certain group of fellow Americans.

Nutso? That's a good start, but it goes waaaaaay further than that, although I like your characterization of him needing a straight jacket.
When a totally Democrat (I have to keep forgiving her for this; needing to take care of her Mother convinced her the Dims give her more aid, enuf said.) childhood friend of mine, living in a state where they pay 27% to the state in income tax!!!, told me "Don't even think about voting for Dean. He's crazy." - I know that the man must be really crazy.
OWF - some nut. The Mods are really ready with their ZOT gun. Good thing, too.
I'm trying to get "omegatoo" 's photos to post. So far, not good. And she might be away from her computer for the evening. Sigh.
Fawnn, how are you tonight?

(I refuse to call candidates for President "Democratic" as they are NOT. They are Democrats.)
