The President had a very busy day today, leaving this morning for New Orleans, Louisiana, appearing first at a roundtable discussion on faith-based initiatives, then at Union Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church where he spoke to faith based and community leaders, and finally at a fundraising luncheon at the National D Day Museum.
He then traveled to Atlanta, Georgia where, accompanied by Coretta Scott King and King's daughter, Christine King Ferris, he placed a wreath on the tomb of Martin Luther King, Jr. on what would have been his 75th birthday, and this evening is at a fundraiser this evening with Democrat, Zell Miller, who will be campaigning for the Presidents reelection this year (Go, Zell!)
Enjoy this MUCH needed visit to Sanity Island as you revel in your Daily Dose of Dubya!!

He has a sort of "wooden" appearance. And of course the long-faced "sadness". I think sad tree was a very apt description.
Peggy said she would have a column up on Weasley Clark soon too. Now there's one sick lyin' puppy. Or puppet. Heh!

I've followed her accounts of Jan's condition, but I never dreamed that Jan would die. And from a heart attack. So young. How she suffered, and MamaB must have suffered right along with her child. My heart goes out to her and to her family. Prayers for all of them. God bless them.

I was wondering about Jan's age also and also if anyone knows exactly what her medical problem was.
I know she (and MamaB) had a horrible time ... she was in and out of the hospital so much ... it seemed like she was in more than out, but I never could really figure out what was wrong with her.

I knew I'd be late getting back, thanks for trying to get the pictures up for me. I was trying to use the Yahoo Photos site, but I guess that doesn't work.
Let's try these......
Can you see these???

Oh, too funny. I keep having trouble getting off the front page of the Dose - all those "right clicks" to save the pics. I finally saved off last year's to a CD - made a LOT more room on my PC. My hard drive is so full of Bush pics that it isn't funny! I tried a zip drive for awhile, but never got the hang of it. So I just keep loading it up! Tonight there are some ya just can't pass up.

Okay, Here the correction. I went back and looked it up the dose that MamaB shared with us a chronological history of Jan's trials with her condition. Jan was 18 to 19 when she started having problems and that was back in 97? So she should be about 25 now.
To: MamaB
There is no harder reality to face than the loss of your child. May the Lord be tender with you and hold you up during this time of grief. Remember that love is stronger than death.

To: notpoliticallycorewrecked
Oh, thanks for that clarification. I also thought her a bit younger. Don't know why exactly....

So Very Sorry
For Your Loss
There must have been all would concede
In heaven ,
a very special need.
To take this child
away so soon,
Dear God send comfort
to heal the wound.
For someone so small,
many do weep,
For this child was wanted for
life to keep.
Consolation through God's peace
we pray.
May pain diminish with
each passing day.

Taking stuff is an occupational hazard for those in the medical profession. There's stuff for everything that ails you and most partake freely. I doubt his medical records will be any cleaner than slick willie's.......however, Dean has scrubbed his, if there ever was a formal record.

The way the Media tells the story .. Mrs. King was NOT happy about President Bush being there She looks prety happy hereReally? I have been avoiding the media lately. She seemed quite pleased in all of the pictures with the President. This is so disgusting. See why I quit watching the propaganda? :-)

You're right about the panic attacks altura. I spent the last five months having panic attacks, seeing a counselor. It was awful. Some guy attacked me in the parking lot at night, and a bunch of people stood around and watched and wouldn't help. Afterwards I was a wreck. But to me this means that Dean is not qualified to be President. He isn't strong enough.
You're right about being sensible, I guess he isn't.
