The President had a very busy day today, leaving this morning for New Orleans, Louisiana, appearing first at a roundtable discussion on faith-based initiatives, then at Union Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church where he spoke to faith based and community leaders, and finally at a fundraising luncheon at the National D Day Museum.

He then traveled to Atlanta, Georgia where, accompanied by Coretta Scott King and King's daughter, Christine King Ferris, he placed a wreath on the tomb of Martin Luther King, Jr. on what would have been his 75th birthday, and this evening is at a fundraiser this evening with Democrat, Zell Miller, who will be campaigning for the President‘s reelection this year (Go, Zell!)

Enjoy this MUCH needed visit to Sanity Island as you revel in your Daily Dose of Dubya!!

OK .. thanks

My husband has been watching them all week .. he told me about one show the other night about terrorists & anthrax that started in Italy and ended in a fire fight in Mexico

I didn't know if it was true .. but it sounded very interesting

I want a President making cool-calm decisions under the most difficult of times, not someone who is hyper-ventilating in a paper bag....

The panic attack was understandable, Dean said. "To suddenly get told that you have responsibility for 600,000 people — it provokes a little anxiety."

And this idiot wants to be responsible for 280 Million people???

HELLO!!!!

What incredible pixes of President Bush! [I find the pixes with the cross and stained glass window in the background particularly stunning!]

We are so fortunate to have as our President a man of such obvious and genuine faith -- we are truly blessed!

I saw a thread earlier about Dean's panic attacks! Isn't he the one who didn't want his records released for so long? I am sure I read that several times. It seems to me this man is unstable. When the media dug out W's very old DWI they hinted he wasn't stable enough to be President. I betcha they don't infer this at all about Dean who obviously has some sort of disorder!

Oh NO! I knew Jan had problems, but never did I think something like this could happen. Dear Mama B, what a terrible thing to happen. I am so shocked, and so sad. Prayers for her and her family.

Dean is slipping in the polls of course. And Gephardt is doing poorly in Iowa I understand. Of course maybe they are aware of his 90% absenteeism from legislative votes.

Don't think I want to have a President that decides he'll just "pass" 90% of the time either.

Peggy Noonan described Kerry as a "sad tree" in an article I read today from her. LOL Priceless!

I belive that she was 19. I am recalling from memory of a post from about a month ago that was on the daily dose.

My heart is just breaking right now. She has had so many up and downs with Jan.

Yes, the behavior of some on President Bush visiting the grave of MLK is despicable and not in the spirit of the late Dr. King at all.

An FYI to those who requested one of my extra "The Faith of George W Bush" books.

I put the books in the mail this afternoon -- you should get your book within 2 or 3 days. ENJOY!
