The President had a very busy day today, leaving this morning for New Orleans, Louisiana, appearing first at a roundtable discussion on faith-based initiatives, then at Union Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church where he spoke to faith based and community leaders, and finally at a fundraising luncheon at the National D Day Museum.
He then traveled to Atlanta, Georgia where, accompanied by Coretta Scott King and King's daughter, Christine King Ferris, he placed a wreath on the tomb of Martin Luther King, Jr. on what would have been his 75th birthday, and this evening is at a fundraiser this evening with Democrat, Zell Miller, who will be campaigning for the Presidents reelection this year (Go, Zell!)
Enjoy this MUCH needed visit to Sanity Island as you revel in your Daily Dose of Dubya!!

BTW baseballmom the Padres are opening their new ballpark in April, downtown by the bay. We are ready for Baseball.
Hard to think about baseball when it is so VERY freezing cold outside. BUT, spring training starts Feb 19. Woo HOOOOO. Our new ballpark opens this spring too. I can't WAIT.
PS. My brother lives in Poway Ramona area. I love San Diego, it's probably one of the nicest areas in the whole country.

The pizza plans for this weekend are on hold, I called WRAMC and they didn't think we could do it without approval. I spoke with Kristinn tonight on the phone and he is trying to organize a huge Superbowl party to be held at WRAMC with the NFL's blessings, going to try and get Domino's to help with the Pizza and delivery. I will let you know more tomorrow after I talk with Kristinn

LOL Big time!
Zell Miller is on Hannity and Colmes; he was just asked what he thought of a very critical remark about him supporting Bush and he said, "Well spread that on the grass and watch it grow green!"
I LOVE IT!

The group has purchased $300,000 worth of air time on Time Warner's CNN that starts Jan. 17 and runs through Jan. 21. On CNN, lol? That's kind of like preaching to the choir, isn't it?
To: ohioWfan; MamaB
Oh No ... MamaB I'm sending prayers for Jan right away

<> You know I don't remember to tell you the truth. I was so overwhelmed by the paragraph - everything else just seemed to be so irrelevant. Should PJB mean something obvious?
To: ohioWfan; MamaB
Oh, and MamaB was talking about the stress on the family. That was nothing compared to what they're going through now.
MamaB - May the Lord hold you and your family in the palm of His hands. Keep Him close to you as your make your preparations. She is in a far better place and out of pain but I know that that doesn't help your pain. Y'all did your best to get her the help she needed and I'm sure she knew how much you wanted her to get well and be happy. Please know that we felt like we knew her, through you, and that we are so sorry to hear of this sudden turn of events. Words being to fail.....
God bless you and yours in the coming days.

Oh no - how terrible...but I've always had a bad feeling about Jan's health, it never sounded as if it was going to get better.
Prayers for MamaB, Jan's immortal soul, and the entire family in their grief.
To: ohioWfan; MamaB
Oh Dear God. This is very sad news. I'm so sorry to hear this, I've been very concerned about all of you.
