Resignation comes as city settles suit over her 'hate group' comments.
The Fresno Human Relations Commission chairwoman who called a local conservative organization a "hate group" resigned as the city reached a lawsuit settlement over her comments.
Debbie Reyes announced her resignation through an e-mail that was read Thursday evening at the commission meeting.

Good riddance is right. It is great to see someone actually held accountable for jumping to conclusions. She was being spoonfed the information by a disgruntled ex-Freep who was savvy enough to know what kind of person would want to use the info against FR, and fortunately that dirty trick backfired.
