 A world of criticism is now directed at Hillary Clinton in outrage over her latest stunt. In preparation for Wesley Clark’s upcoming MSNBC Hardball interview with Chris Matthews, Sen. Clinton dangled the retired General over a hungry Matthews during a commercial break.
“Crikey, that was a stupid thing to do” Said DNC Chairmen Terry Mcauliffe. Senator Clinton had already received harsh criticism in 2002 after dangling Clark over a hotel balcony. She claimed that at no time was Clark ever in danger, the same stance she is taking now. “I am only trying to make Wesley Clark media savvy.” In response to questions regarding the stability of her footing at the time, the former first-lady replied, “For me to have tripped while holding Clark, a giant meteor would have to come crashing down in the Nation’s Capital causing an earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter Scale. A mile high tidal wave from the Potomac would have to have washed out Washington... a Democrat would have to have a real chance of winning the upcoming election. It absolutely was NOT a possibility." |
