[Old Sarge]

Greetings, Canteeners, Troops,
and All the Ships at Sea!

Sarge is back on watch at this hour, and he's watching, all right! That aircraft with the mysterious passenger is headed right for the Bluegrass - Cincinatti Airport is on the Kentucky side of the Ohio; they'll come to us, first.

Meanwhile, the Home Detachment is readying itself for another siege. F-I-L is going under the laser tomorrow at dawn, to get a new pacemaker and defibrulator installed. Missus and The Boy will be staying with him for a few nights. That means: SARGE GETS THE HOUSE TO HIMSELF!!!

Baby Sabella is doing better. The tapeworms are gone without a trace, but her kitty bronchitis is still a raging sneeze.

So here's Sarge, BDU's on, and about to leave, and he picks up Sabella, who turns out is a shoulder-cat, and the following dialogue begins:
SARGE: "Hello, Sabella, how are you feeling, my littl -"
SABELLA: "ker-hah-SPEWWWW!!!"
SARGE: "D'OH!"

I love that kitten dearly, but a wet ear kind of "dampens" our relationship...

I'll be here the rest of watch tonight, and a little beyond. Glad to see everyone here!
