MoveOn.org, an advocacy group, has sought to energize opposition to the president by sponsoring a contest in which Americans were urged to produce an anti-Bush advertisement to air the week of the State of the Union address. Web site visitors were invited to vote for their favorite ad from a pre-selected group that MoveOn.org deems appropriate for TV. MoveOn.org informed potential ad makers that "we're not going to post anything that would be inappropriate for television." Two of the ads posted on the group's Web site compared Adolf Hitler to George W. Bush. One ad morphed an image of Hitler into President Bush and says that, "1945's war crimes" are "2003's foreign policy."

It's incredible how Orwellian their lies are. People that are motivated by hatred (like Nazis) are capable of saying or doing anything. Serving their hate is all that matters to them.
SIMON WIESENTHAL CENTER CRITICIZES MOVEON.ORG FOR POSTING AD COMPARING BUSH TO HITLER

Buffalo, NY - October 23, 2003
Who is Eli Pariser and why does he keep spamming Americans with commie pinko faggot propaganda about protesting Iraq, Arnold's groping, defeating Republicans, world peace, racism, and every other conceivable piece of Politically Correct liberal claptrap imaginable? As MotherHo magazine put it:
"The son of two 1960s activists who founded an alternative high school in Camden, Maine, Pariser graduated from college at 19. His stint as an in-your-face radical ended early, too, after kibitzing for a few hours with D.C. cops at an anti-IMF rally in April 2000."
See, this is what happens when hippies have kids, and is another reason that we should encourage their dope-smoking habits (recent studies found that smoking pot leads to sterility; we can only hope Pariser is a real chronic fiend). Pariser is the Kommisar of MoveOn.org, an organization that started as a slush-fund-under-the-radar outfit for those who SUPPORTED Bill Clinton's groping, womanizing, Oval Office blowjob-and-cigar antics. It's funny then that perhaps Pariser's most absurd endeavor was using this very same MoveOn.org to urge California voters to vote AGAINST Arnold because of his alleged groping, which paled in comparison to Clinton's date raping, back-of-the-el-camino ways.
But what else would one expect from an out-and-out ideologue, whose only principal is the election of Democrats? Only Pariser, whose Frenchy-Frenchy sounding name is highly suspicious (does he take ballet lessons?) is too much of a wus to actually register as a Democrat or be up front about his partisan agenda. So instead, he parades around as an activist. If it weren't for the fact that his antics have corresponded EXACTLY with the GOP winning MORE elections (his campaign really did Arianna Hufferwhore a lot of good, eh?) we'd be hoping for some sort of household injury or hackey-sack mishap is in his near future. Peace out, dude.

Eli Pariser
The geek organizer, Mr. MoveOn.org, the Ralph Reed of the left: Sept. 11 dove parlays progressive Web politics into Democratic powerhouse.
Days after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, 20-year-old Eli Pariser launched the Web site 9-11peace.org., which featured a petition that called for "the perpetrators to be brought to justice," but in a way "that was multilateral and made sure that more innocent civilians werent going to die."
Mr. Pariser sent it on to 30 friends, who sent it on to their friends. Within days, the server was crashing because too many people were trying to access it. More than 500,000 signed the petition in less than two weeks.
Now, as campaign director of MoveOn.org, the political Web site and progressive Democratic political-action committee, Mr. Pariser is harnessing that same power to dramatically change the mainstream political landscape.
The advocacy group has grown to more than two million members, organized hundreds of thousands of young people around the 2004 Presidential primaries, provided a youthful, uppity alternative to the Democratic Leadership Council, and even mobilized disgruntled Republicans who think the Bush administration has drifted too far to the right. MoveOn.org can deluge Congress with e-mails in a matter of minutes, as well as organize protests and assault hot political contests. Its the kind of thing that propelled conservative and Christian political forces to the forefront of the Republican Party in the Reagan era. If MoveOn.org is the liberal version of Christian Coalition, then Mr. Pariser is the Ralph Reed of the left.
Founded in 1998 by millionaire techie couple Wes Boyd and Joan Blades, MoveOn.org has raised more than $6.5 million in support of sympathetic candidates in the coming election cycle. Its online Democratic "primary" gave Vermont Governor Howard Dean the nod and is cited everywhere as the force that pushed Dr. Dean into the forefront of the race, and continues to generatefor free!a massive political-support network for the candidate that his opponents pay dearly for, and dont often get.
MoveOn.org so impressed mogul-philanthropist George Soros and Ohio billionaire Peter Lewis that they pledged $5 million to help the organizations Voter Fund air anti-Bush campaign ads. In a recent speech to MoveOn members, Al Gore thanked the group "for using 21st-century techniques to breathe new life into our democracy."
Mr. Pariser told The Observer that he was "the geek organizer."
"Its because Im using the Internet to get people involved politically," he said in his casual baritone. "Its about connecting people with their leaders in such a way that they have a real impact." Insiders called Mr. Pariser the genius architect of MoveOns most successful campaigns. Last fall, he spearheaded the antiwar campaign that tripled MoveOns size and hurled it onto the national radar. And in June 2003, he launched its effort to roll back the F.C.C.s controversial media-consolidation rulesconvincing Congress to consider repealing some of the changes. More recently, hes been working with Moby, Al Franken and other progressive celebs on the "Bush in 30 Seconds" contest, according to MoveOn.orgs Web site, "to help us find the most creative, clear and memorable ideas for ads that tell the truth about George Bushs policies."
"Eli seems to be very creative at finding ways to empower people to do things that they never would have imagined they could," said Robert Borosage, a Democratic strategist who runs the Campaign for Americas Future. "What MoveOn has done which is so extraordinary is to take people away from their computer screens and get them to meet and do a political action."
"I have no idea how he got it so together at 22 years old," said Wes Boyd, laughing. "I certainly wasnt together at 22 years old, I can guarantee that."
But Mr. Pariser seems to have been one of those always-together kids. At 15, he left home and parentsfounders of an alternative high school in Camden, Me.and headed off to Simons Rock College in Great Barrington, Mass., where he studied law and political science and wrote a thesis on the 14th Amendment. At 19, he graduated summa cum laude and, with a few friends, started the American Story Project, a kind of Studs Terkelmeets-the-Internet documentary of the national political soul. They raised more than $100,000 and recruited filmmaker Michael Moore to the board of advisers.
After Sept. 11, Mr. Parisers Web site, 9-11peace.org, caught the eye of Mr. Boyd and his MoveOn colleagues, who offered Mr. Pariser technical support. "We learned very quickly just how talented he is," Mr. Boyd said, "and I think Eli appreciated our approach as well." In November 2001, the Web sites merged; Mr. Pariser went to work full-time for MoveOn.org in April 2002.
"Honestly, this is my dream job," said Mr. Pariser. "I have a lot of friends who, at 22, are working at the local pizza shop or whatever. So, yeahI guess what Im doing is a kind of success. But, you know, the big success would be to actually win for our issues, and we havent gotten quite there yet."
Only Pariser... is too much of a wus to actually register as a Democrat or be up front about his partisan agenda...
just made me realize something that has been nagging me, below the threshold of awareness.
The Left has been in perpetual "Taunt, carp, nag, whine, & rage mode" for about a year... but underlying that is also the absolute lack of honesty. Thanks for making that click.
Excellent line!
It is becoming clear that the left is filled with psychopaths.
Be afraid!
Exposing the Anti-War Movement: MoveOn.org (Your Don't Know Jack!)
Bill Moyers, a LBJ flunky media aide and a man who was never a reporter before he wrapped his mouth around a government teat at PBS, produced the infamous ad attacking a true American, Barry Goldwater.
Here is a WND.com description of the ad. "It opened with a little girl counting the petals on a daisy on a beautiful day. It ended with a nuclear mushroom cloud and the ominous warning that this was the inevitable result of a Goldwater victory."
The RNC protested and to the best of my recollection the Democrat Party pulled the ad after just one showing nationally -- that is, one paid showing.
It was shown only once so how did so many people see it? It became a "news" item. The evening TV "news" showed it free for days (if not weeks!) while they "reported" on the controversy.
