Opinion Journal ^ | 01/05/04 | Zell Miller

Edited on 04/23/2004 12:06:18 AM PDT by Jim Robinson. [history]

Here are some recent headlines as I see them from the Democratic demolition derby: (1) Sharpton "feels good," could feel better; (2) Kerry cusses; (3) Dean gets "help" from Gore; (4) Democrats ask: "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the angriest one of all?"

***Zell Miller or John Breaux got picked to be VP***

As you say, hack, 'Only if the RAT party comes to its' senses'.

The 'toons, with McAwful in charge, are still running their own show. They just didn't expect Howie-the-Horrible to muck-up their plans.

Giulianni has all but announced his intention to go for the Senate seat in 2006, and will win, thus ending Hildabeastes' political career, so she has to run as VP in 2004, resigning the Senate, then losing the 2004 race (It's not her fault), and stay viable for the top-spot in 2008.

Clark has to be the RAT candidate for pres so he can pick her for VP. Arkancide may occur anyplace. It's happenned before...........FRegards

I can't wait to see what Zell does when he leaves office!

My guess is that he'll join FNC as a contributing analyst, just like D'Amato, Gingrich, and Ferraro.

How about when Edwin Newman was around?

All I want is a desk somewhere,
Thirty minutes of network air.
Somebody to come and spray my hair.
Oh, wouldn't I be newsworthy?

Now repeat after me:
Iranians' pains come mainly from Khomeini.

Somehow I remember Jesse Jackson had quite a bit more presence than Al does....

Certainly there must be a poll on this.

Give 'em heck, Zell ! Thanks for the post and ping ...

I'm not sure what Al Gore will contribute. Is he going to advise Mr. Dean to roll down his shirtsleeves and put on a coat, preferably in earth tones? Will he teach him to speak in that stilted highfalutin way? Maybe he'll teach him how to win a Southern state. Like Tennessee.

LOL !

Whoo-ey! You know, this is as funny as Mark Steyn, but a bunch of Zell's zingers have some STING to them! Great article! The analysis is good, and I love Zell's colloquialisms. ("Slick as a peeled onion" is one I hadn't heard for a while...)

I think he's right about Sharpton by the way...Zell is looking for him to get a good percentage of the black vote, but I know some white Democrats who think he makes more sense than most of the other candidates, and would vote for him if they thought he actually had a snowball's chance of winning.

Thanks for the ping.

"I'd be willing to bet a steak dinner (mad cow or no mad cow) that Al Sharpton will get almost as many votes as Messrs. Edwards, Clark or Lieberman in this supposedly more friendly territory."

Al Sharpton for Democrat candidate, Go Al Go! Wouldn't that mess them up... they CLAIM to be the party of love, tolerance, for the minorities... but when do they EVER actually walk the walk?

Zell has made some astute observations, particularly about Sharp-Sharper-Sharpton, the unseen knife pointed at the heart of the Democratic Party. One thrust and the party's over.

Just spent several days with my commie sister. She is so far left. She thinks Dean is a moderate. I told her, that a moderate stands in the middle of the road, and all you get there is...
RUN OVER!

It's as if Mr. Kerry will do anything to appear the "coolest" in the Our Gang crowd.

I think Dean is 'Spanky,' the cool one, and Kerry is 'Alfalfa,' the least cool of all. Pick your own 'Buckwheat.'

They will be impossible to ignore on national TV when the Democrats take center stage in Boston. Memo to Democratic Chairman Terry McAwful: It's called "reaping what you sow."

Tell it like it is, Zig-Zag!
