Michael Jackson gets weird on 60 Minutes..tonight 7pm CBS LIVE THREAD
Posted on 12/28/2003 3:32:33 PM PST by Hillary's Lovely Legs
By special request, here is your live thread for the Wacky Michael Jackson 60 Minutes interview.
Michael Jackson is talking.
CBS' "60 Minutes" will air an interview with the pop superstar tonight, marking Jackson's first public comments since his Nov. 20 arrest on suspicion of child molestation.
Ed Bradley interviewed Jackson for about 30 minutes on Christmas Day at a hotel in Los Angeles. Bradley had been pursuing an interview with Jackson even before the molestation charges. The CBS newsman traveled to Jackson's Neverland estate last February for an interview, but Jackson got cold feet and canceled it at the last minute.
Jackson, 45, is charged with seven counts of performing lewd or lascivious acts upon a child under 14 and two counts of administering an intoxicating agent. He remains free on $3 million bail.

Like Clinton, he doesn't believe what he's doing is "sexual." I'm guessing that he sees rubbing and touching as signs of affection. Having read the 1993 victim's affidavit at the smokinggun.com, I'd say Jackson's signs of affection are pretty darn similar to acts of sexual gratification.

How can ya tell?
If he were any *weirder* he'd be a freakin' cartoon....wait...THAT's what he really is!

Pepto-sexual - that's a word I have never heard before! And it fits him so well too!

I liked his pre-Thriller music. But I did think the video for Thriller was pretty cool. New, cutting edge. Who would have known he was modeling himself to look like his character later in life from that video, LOL.

The embroidery was excellent, of course it would be more excellent for a woman, I didn't notice which side of the shirt the buttons were on so we could tell if it was a blouse or a shirt, but I will admit that the Sargent's stripes were just over the top.
That being said, I read recently that the courts will bring up the parentage of Jackson's children. His first son, Prince Micheal the first, is a towheaded lily white child. Not a drop of Jackson blood. I smell a DNA test that will cause Michael to slit his wrists.

Imagine grabbing your crotch as part of your act on National TV, then tell me that you sleep with little boys, then hang your kid out the window "on National TV", then ask me
"So what's the problem?".
The problem is "This is Michael Jackson, who can pay his people to lie for him, pay a big attorney, pay off an accuser, get on the news anytime he wants and get away with just about anything. He's a wierd, creep."
I hope to hell that they finally nail him.

Most of us strive to avoid looking guilty when we're not. If MJ is innocent, a remote possibility, he has fried his self-preservation circuits completely. I'll get flamed for this BUT he seems very sincere, of course all sociopaths seems sincere.
I can buy your premise.

I didn't read the thread so someone else may have caught this already....but that is not a pic of Joan Crawford, it is of Faye Dunaway AS Joan Crawford.

His first son, Prince Micheal the first, is a towheaded lily white child. Not always an indicator. There's an interracial couple living near us and two of their six kids are tow-heads with blue eyes.
I couldn't tell which side his blouse was buttoned on, but then, I didn't watch much of the interview. Without the sgt stripes, his blouse did look like I could wear it to a Christmas party with a simple black skirt or pants.

Yeah, that's right, all 300,000,000 million of us have conspired not to buy his album. Whoa! You know we all agreed that if we are ever questioned about it the answer is "No sir I didn't plan anything. I just decided not buy his album; all on my own." We kept the lid on JFK; we can keep the lid on this.

Good to see ya Capps!
Not just you, I suspect Michael had his lips permanently tattooed. He obviously doesn't believe in electrolysis.

Yaknow...Ed Bradley is old enough and experienced enough to have probably experienced a number of prejudicial cultural settings in his lifetime,.....and I suspect he's known a good number of other black men who way surpassed the character of their peers only to never have had much opportunity to express their liberty financially or in the public forum.
I suspect somewhere deep inside Ed Bradley is either a sincere desire to just slap the crap out of MJ,....or maybe he's beyond that in a state of disbelief, essentially regarding why would anybody a fraction the worth even waste the time to consider it.
Surely there are others more worthy of time and effortin the render public attention span

It is ten till on the left coast and the tv guide(charter) says the show is something other than MJ Gets Freaky.
Oh well we will see.
Think I'll go make a ham and cheese omelette with the holiday left overs.
