Thanks for the post. One of my greatest memories was watching Ollie charm a nation.......and discredit several senators.....Thaey weere out to hang him on national television and Ollie, ( with the help of his attorney, Brendan "SHARKTOOTH" Sullivan, made monkeys out of the senators:)

Ollie missed the most important gifts the Dims need badly, that's a audio tape collection of Gramsci's notebooks, letters and editorial thought on his works.
1, 2 With Dean (and the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party), they have stepped out of the subversive shadows and into the light of populist scrutiny.
This could set the counter-culture revolutionaries back decades as the doctrinal underpinnings of their adherent plants are exposed in academia, on the judiciary and in the entertainment and informational media.
The angry, outspoken, and intemperate liberal simply cannot be trusted with the revolution within. The Mujahi-Dean has jumped the gun. But with the counter-revolutionaries in their most influential positions and the younger generation repudiating their dogma, what choice did they really have?

I'm reading his new Iraq book as I type. He is one man I really look up to. I had the pleasure of meeting him last year in San Diego, and luckily my current school will have him for their distinguished lecture series next month. I'm pretty excited about it.

I'm pretty excited about it. He would have been Senator North if not for his fellow Republican senator the great John Warner, then of course there was that scathing denouncement from Nancy Reagan.

I'm hoping that even Discovery Times will reshow the hearings some day. I remember quite a bit of it, even though I was a teenager at the time, and not supposed to be interested in such things.

If you like Ollie and enjoy reading, find a book called
Blue's Bastards by Randy somebody (Herrod?... sorry... blanking on the name... the book is in the war room somewhere, and I'm too tired to go look).
This kid was in Oliver North's platoon, and after Lt North rotated to the States, he got in big trouble in Vietnam. There was no one to testify that he'd been a good Marine. North came back to Vietnam and testified at the kid's court-martial. Everything came out alright for him -- and he is a bigger Ollie North fan than you and has been for 35 years.
I just think you'd like the book, based on what you said here.
