Sorry we missed your question, I try to answer everyone, but, sometimes it's really busy. If you ask, and don't receive an answer in a day or so, please ask again. Sometimes your questions just get lost.
To: Jim Robinson
Ok, I got a couple of questions.
How late does Jimrob stay up at night reading this crazy place.
Does your wife look at you as crazy as my wife does (I got to go to bed now, I've been bad, real bad)!
Merry Christmas gang ! Thanks for the tireless work you monitors do for us. I can only imagine the trouble it would be to do so on a daily basis.

Actually I came up with that fight idea from when I read about Buddha and Confucius in high school. I never could grasp their philosophies but all I could think about is who would win in a no-rules street fight. I'd have to go with Buddah on this one...
To: Gabz
Blessed to read of your success.
YEA! It's great to feel helpful on these things!

Thanks for the tip. Yep, takes a bit of work, but can be done. Guess that'll be my next project for the next time I get stuck at home sick.

In reference to banishing user. It is disconcerting to have a thread gutted by the wholesale removal of the banned member's posts. I have participated in some very interesting discussions where a couple of posters got out of line about abuse when it because obvious that their position was completely untenable... when they were ultimately banned, ALL evidence of what there positions were went with them, leaving subsequent readers wondering why I was having this one-sided discussion. In some instances it made the thread unreadable.
Sometimes their replies or posts had useful information regardless of their opinions and misguided abuse. Would it be possible, in these instances, to merely ban the offender from posting yet leave his replies?

"Actually, those are lyrics by Neal Peart of Rush. Great song though."
Well at least we know you are under 50.

I quoted your post, just in case you get banned and it gets pulled.

Nope.
If a returning banned user comes back, he's going to be nuked, not just rebanned. Otherwise, he has a reason to keep coming back.

Your web site doesn't welcome criticisms nor conservatives. That's too bad. So is Fred Mertz one of the two liberals?

I'd have to go with Buddah on this one... That's what I would have thought due to his big weight advantage. But keep in mind that Buddha has been sitting cross-legged for a couple thousand years and has developed a big beer gut that has turned him green. Meanwhile, Confucius although lighter in weight knows all those kewl kung-fu moves. Therefore I give the edge to Confucius.

I'm sorry that you didn't have a good Christmas!
But! I'm REALLY HAPPY that whatever it is that prolonged your life.....did.
Now, please....enjoy this life that God has given you.
And don't worry about the stuff you're asking questions about. Things are fine here on FR. Trust me.
