Well, though I was making a funny, what happens is a bath towel wet like that forms bacteria.
We wash clothes and right after dry them to avoid bacteria growing.

"Why doesn't FR require a newbie to post 25 responses before allowing the person to post a thread?"

Not a bad idea.
I think there should be some time frame involved to allow a person to first get a feel for the site.
I wonder if there is a way they and Jim could make a newbie have maybe 100 responses, 15 separate logged in visits over at least a month before posting.
First, more will understand it is a privilege and not a right to post here.
Secondly, it would make it a lot more work for an impostor of DU type to get satisfaction of any kind.
Plus mostly it would cut down on the work an administrator has to do I would think.
I think you make a great point.
PS, some don't decide to post articles or vanities much anyway. I don't think I've created more than two myself ever. Others might have thousands in just one year.

"As I stated before, this is your website and your rules. This is a business and I respect that. I just understand I won't be treated on the same level as someone else."
Shooter, what's the problem? You answer your own question with your tagline --- "don't punch holes in your own lifeboat." You are flailing away in most every post. And you sound like, well not Hillary, but you sound like Gephardt.

1. Do we always have to choose someone to reply to? if we are only replying to the article featured, do we hit the reply button to the poster of the article? are they going to end up with a bunch of messages? and do they like it that way?
2. I've always wanted to post articles but am quite confused as to which news sources are absolute no-no's to post from. Can someone give me some definate UNallowed (DISallowed? NONallowed? NOFREAKINWAYISTHISallowed) news sources....
3. Does this dress make me look fat?

1) No, you don't always have to choose someone to reply to. You can blank out the "to" field. If you are only replying to the article and not to the person who posted it, the system defaults to putting that person in the "to" field. People who post articles do end up with a lot of messages because of this. Some like it, some don't.
2) Only Jim Robinson and John Robinson have access to the list of 'blacklisted' sites. In general, they fall into a few categories: a) racist sites, b) leftist message boards like DU, et al, and c) other sites which someone tried to spam our forum with. For example on the latter, there was a new conservative webzine that started not too long ago. It would have been more than welcome here, but someone signed up with a mail address tracing back to that site, and proceeded to post article after article to sidebars, all just one line excerpts. After being warned by Jim, and the behavior continuing, Jim decided to blacklist the site. (I forget the site involved, but a few weeks later he removed it from the blacklist).
3) No, that dress is quite slimming on you.
