Why doesn't FR require a newbie to post 25 responses before allowing the person to post a thread?
I bet that there are few DUfuses who could go 25 posts before they showed their true communist colors and got the ZOT.

What constitutes "an old timer?" Is it subjective, or does it have objective statistical parameters? By the way, has anyone hit the abuse button on me yet? If not, that just goes to show how insipid one can be for 23,000 plus posts, or something, boring everyone to terminal ennui.

I want to know if there is a way to search for an article by post time from the front page instead of putting the word into search for title then by post time?

I think the mods are too afraid to check the WFTD threads. A while back, someone referred me to something on Liberty Post (I think) and while I was clicking around there, I saw someone refer to WFTD as being nothing but a big, perverted orgy. ;)

Their turn will come. The comments are recorded and will eventually result in a banning or an attitude adjustment.

Cyberstalking may be a different thing all together. Since this isn't, I was just told to grow a thicker skin.
Ok, fine, but for someone to tell me the rules are the same for everyone, that simply isn't true.

SM"s can't nuke and AM's can't nuke old timers How long do you have to be here to attain "old timer" status?
Am I there yet?

There are several sites that Jim just doesn't want affiliated with FR.

There is unrest in the forest
There is trouble with the trees
For the maples want more sunligh
And the oaks ignore their pleas
The trouble with the maples
(and theyre quite convinced theyre right)
They say the oaks are just too lofty
And they grab up all the light
But the oaks cant help their feelings
If they like the way theyre made
And they wonder why the maples
Cant be happy in their shade?
There is trouble in the forest
And the creatures all have fled
As the maples scream `oppression!`
And the oaks, just shake their heads
So the maples formed a union
And demanded equal rights
the oaks are just too greedy
We will make them give us light
Now theres no more oak oppression
For they passed a noble law
And the trees are all kept equal
By hatchet,
Axe,
And saw ...

I'm not trying to ban prayer from FR or anyplace else. Seems it would be more relevant under "religion" instead of "news" at least.

Watch it and tell me what they are wearing and what instruments they are playing.Um, they'll probably be playing a guitar, a bass, a drum kit, maybe some keyboards. I don't know the details like you do.
Saw them for the first time at The Garden in '84 - opened with "The Spirit Of Radio" - killer live band...
I saw the 1/2 hour special earlier today. They're kind of artsy fartsy, but I was pleasantly surprised that I sort of like them. ;)

Sorry, I don't buy it. If you went to the person's profile page, they're insulting someone right now.
They're going to be here when you and I are long gone.

some folks just can't take a joke.
That's why we always warn new folks at WFTD that we are just a harmless group having some fun.
After a while everyone gets to know everyone and know how far to go before crossing the line.
