[history]
MELISSA Etheridge definitely wears the pants in her relationship with Tammy Lynn Michaels.
When Etheridge, 42, walked down the aisle in Malibu last September and swapped vows with Michaels, 28, the "bride" wore a lacey gown designed by Badgley Mischka.

Ms. Michaels (Mrs. Etheridge?) is actually kind of cute.
I can't tell whether or not she's wearing comfortable shoes.

I don't really care what an aging lesbian like that thinks Notice her "wife" is 14 years her junior. Shouldn't NOW have something to say about this?

Michaels, an actress now playing a lesbian on the cable series "The L Word," is also an author of children's books I'd venture a guess she wasn't any of these things before grabbing on to the coat-tails of a famous lesbian. Ala Ann Heche. Only Ann's story didn't turn out so good!

She discrimated against various races as well as being a chicken-hawk. What is the female equivalent? Chick-hawk?

"PLEASE!!Don't throw poor Zimbu the Monkey under the bus too!"Heh! My instinct tells me ZIMBU would have enough common sense to reject the offer of 'Maid of Honor' as a bit too PC. Etheridge would then have to go to 'Plan "B": Lassie.

All of this stuff is "bread and circus."
Who gives a flying hoot about any of these morally bankrupt "celebrities." Just fodder for the supermarket tabloids. Within two years, these freaks will get another "tabloid news cycle" with the scandalous story of their inevitable "break-up" that should have every fat housewife from El Centro, CA to Bangor, ME in chocolate-eating glory as they unfurl their "National Enquirer" on their cookie-crumb laden coffee tables during commercial breaks from Oprah.

I also believe in minding one's own business, but these people are giving press conferences, interviews and writing childrens propaganda books. They make it our business with their ceaseless self-promotion, and their effort is devoted to changing public opinion to their liking. Letting them control public discourse on topics of their choice without comment is just ceding the battlefield to them.
To: Agnes Heep
This is an irrelevant argument. There is nothing perverted about being black.
Secondly, just another example of how the crazies follow the Dems.

***This is becoming a disturbing trend. Women like Madonna and Tammy Michaels writing children's books.***
Children's books are a highly specialized form of writing. I'm told they are MUCH harder to write than most people know. And these lesbians can get them published just because they ARE lesbians.

gold-diggers for lesbians now... hmmm... I bet this 'marriage' lasts long enough for her to leave and ask for a large sum of money.

Just another perverse way to "let it all hang out" and try to get the rest of the world to accept their decadent lifestyles. They're going after the kids. People need to pay attention to what their kids are reading, now more than ever.

Julie Cypher, who was Etheridge's girlfriend for 12 years.Word parsing at work. Julie was the "wife" previously - but like some men do, Melissa traded up to someone younger.

Let's see.
Lesbianism is supposed to be an "inate orientation" for women.
However, woman A gets to be the man? So, if she's the man, then why is Woman B attracted to her?
And, if woman B is attracted to her, does that mean that Woman B is really oriented toward men?
Finally, why do they use "appliances" that are shaped like male sex organs if they are attracted to women?
I think Eve has been listening to the Serpent one more time, and she is very, very confused and very, very easily misled.

Legally married or not, the couple seems to be falling into traditional husband and wife roles.

So I assume Melissa lays around the house all day in a ratty flannel shirt and asks the kids to pull her finger... |

"Because if I'm in a dress, then I'm going to feel like I'm in drag." I dont see that as being strange. Not many women anymore ever wear dresses around here either - lesbian or not. Lots of women here now dont even own a dress.
