MELISSA Etheridge definitely wears the pants in her relationship with Tammy Lynn Michaels.
When Etheridge, 42, walked down the aisle in Malibu last September and swapped vows with Michaels, 28, the "bride" wore a lacey gown designed by Badgley Mischka.

These people belong in a psych ward and should not have custody of children.

I don't really care what an aging lesbian like that thinks. I do feel sorry for the children, though. As for equating her (luxurious and self-indulgent) situation with racial discrimination, well, that just shows her myopic and self-centered world view.

I hope there isn't a "family" dog.

There's something about an article about two lesbians written by someone named "Dick Johnson" that amuses me.

had to interrupt the interview to conduct a phone press conference supporting Howard Dean. My, my! Such an IMPORTANT person she is!

When they finally let the 'coloreds' use their bathroom or their washroom, we all didn't die, did we? No. It's the same thing. The difference is that being "colored" is neither a charade nor an elaborate pretension--it's an actual fact of nature.

Michaels, an actress now playing a lesbian on the cable series "The L Word," is also an author of children's books. Etheridge is more interested in politics, and had to interrupt the interview to conduct a phone press conference supporting Howard Dean. This is becoming a disturbing trend. Women like Madonna and Tammy Michaels writing children's books.

Etheridge and Michaels gush to the gay magazine about how much they love each other and discuss the importance of their "marriage" to the relationship. Oh, oh.. sounds like trouble in paradise to me.. ala Ellen. Me thinks they love a bit too loudly.. must be a man in the woodpile somewhere.. developing. . :)

Etheridge: "I'm Mama, or Mom. 'Mom' pretty much covers anybody and everybody." And this doesn't bother them. And further, they think the children are OK dealing with this.
As a mother, I would be devastated if my child was calling someone else "Mom".

Who cares what them wack-o lezbots think. You have to get the kids out of that awful environment and stop them fruit-tarts popping out children from designer sperm.

Melissa Etheridge: "The walls and gates that have been held closed by people with narrow minds and fear and hate in their hearts, will burst open. And it has to. When they finally let the 'coloreds' use their bathroom or their washroom, we all didn't die, did we? No. It's the same thing." And unless Zimbu the Monkey was allowed the be 'Maid of Honor,' AND she promises all subsequent future sperm "donations" will be courtesy of Turkish insane asylums, I shall regard Etheridge's ceremony to be a sham, and her to be a "narrow-minded" hypocrite.

PLEASE!!Don't throw poor Zimbu the Monkey under the bus too!

I really don't care what they do, but Etheridge has admitted she was molested when she was a child, yet she denies it has any bearing on her orientation. I have to say, I think it does, and so I agree, I do not think it right for the constant equations to race.
I also don't think it is right for these children to be involved and this nonsense about "everybody's Mom", and they don't realize how screwed up that sounds. I'm not advocating the kids be taken away, but it does bother me that they tell us it is like any normal family when it obviously is not. Actually, I do have kind of a corallary to a situation. My sister-in-law is raising her granddaughter, more or less, and the grandchild started calling her grandmother "Mom". Well, she put a stop to that as kindly and gently and it took a little while, but she realized that was not right, and she should only call her mother (who is involved and there--not absent) "Mom".

It is disturbing, isn't it? People with sexual issues always seem to have some sick thing for the young, like NAMBLA. I think this children's book thing helps them affirm their own issues, sort of like therapy, almost exhibitionistic in a way. It also helps form those young minds to their own way of thinking, like Communist indoctrination, with books like "Heather has Two Mommies." Just another perverse way to "let it all hang out" and try to get the rest of the world to accept their decadent lifestyles.
