I was chatting with a few colleagues the other day and the conversation evolved into a political debate about the difference between President Bush and the Democrat front-runner Howard Dean. My three colleagues, all Democrats, were unanimous that the only salvation for the nation was to return control of the nation to the Federal Government and get it out of the hands of the people.
My colleagues were in unanimous agreement that Hillary could make the transition easier, but did not want to expose herself at the present. (I surmise that this is only because her husband Bill is continuing to expose himself to any one wearing a skirt.) The only other choice for Democrats is Howard Dean. The rest of the candidates lack the courage to stand up and tell American that the only way to save the nations is to take back control into the hands of those that know best what American needs.
George Bush by reducing taxes allows the dollars in the economy to remain in the hands of the under educated working man and woman. These individuals either individually or collectively do not have the where with all to make the proper decisions concerning this great nation. Bill Clinton addressed this problem when he said that America had been extremely lucky over the previous two hundred years, but the future was too important to leave to the average man on the street.
By George Bush leaving the tax dollars in the hands of the taxpayers, your government has very little control over how it is spent and when. Just think of how much better our nation would be if your government had a tax rate that allowed for a comfortable surplus and could spend anything, they wanted whenever Hillary, or Teddy or other Democrat leader decided that the expenditure would benefit the nation. We could provide funds for food, shelter, and clothing for those not desiring to work, while they were waiting for the right job to come along. We could provide for unlimited health care benefits to every one, no matter what the sickness or problems. Everyone in the working class would have the same value to the nation no matter what economic value they provide to society.
With Dean as president, correct decisions will be made in the oval office and the halls of the capital, not around the kitchen tables of the nation. Individual will have no worries or concerns about what to buy, because their government will have already decided that for them. They will not have to be worried about their children's education, because all will be educated the same. The government will decide who should be educated and to what level of education.
Why are not the Dean supporters eager to let America know that a President Dean and the Democrat Party will make the hard decisions for the voters? If we re-elect George Bush American voters will continue to have to make the hard decisions on their own without their governments help on intervention.

When Clinton came into office in 1993, the nation had come out of a recession. The economy was expanding. Eight years later, the economy had gone into a recession, and Clinton had done nothing to fix the situation. George W. Bush came into office, with a recession in full swing. He cut taxes and increased government spending and got us out of the recession. Three years into his first term, Bush had the economy growing at its fastest rate in 20 years.
When Clinton was president, the US faced regular terrorist attacks, domestically (OKC, World Trade Center) and over-seas (African embassies, USS Cole, etc). Clinton took no effective steps against these attacks. He passed up several chances to capture bin Laden and he embroiled us in a pointless war in the Balkans. George W. Bush became president, experienced one terrorist attack and set about ridding the world of this scourge. Three years into his first term, two terrorist countries have been overthrown and turned into free nations. Additionally, Libya has agreed to get rid of all its WMD, and the efforts of the uS are not slowing down.
Worst President ever? How can anyone say that?
Because their candidate is an ass and their party is in shambles would be my guess.
Same reason the McCaniacs and the Patsies were touchy...they realized too late that they were backing flakes.

You shouldn't do that. It might help Bush in the short term, but it will hurt the conservative movement, and ultimately our nation in the long run.
With Dean leading the rats, Bush and the republicans can move left and still be "conservative" by comparison.
Plus if the rat party was controlled by moderates like zell miller, then much more of the conservative agenda would be getting voted on and passed.
