This one sounds great:
Pumpkin Meat Loaf
1 (3 1/2 to 4 pound) pumpkin
Salt and black pepper, to taste
3 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef (OR TURKEY)
1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
Cut top from pumpkin; discard top. Remove and discard strings and seeds. Place whole pumpkin, minus top, in baking dish. Add about 1 inch hot water to dish around the outside of the pumpkin. Cover pumpkin and pan with foil. Bake in a preheated 400 degree F oven for 45 minutes, or until pumpkin is tender but not falling apart. Pour off water.
Season inside of pumpkin with salt and pepper. Spread with 1 tablespoon of the mustard and sprinkle with brown sugar.
Combine remaining 2 tablespoons mustard, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, ground beef and bread crumbs. Mix well. Spoon beef mixture into pumpkin shell, packing down tightly. Return pumpkin to oven and bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until pumpkin is tender and meat loaf is cooked.
Cut into wedges to serve.
I *loved* this stuff when I was a kid and thought it wasn't made anymore. Maybe a regional thing...
I had great results with alpha lipoic acid combined with acetyl-l-carnitine, a combo researchers at UCLA reported "made aged lab rats do the macarena." I felt wonderful, looked glowy, and my fingernails grew in without the horrid grooves they'd developed. Other amino acids are effective too.

This company was recommended by another freeper and I've been buying from them for years. My favorite exotic is GABA, gamma amino butyric acid, reported to have made aged lab rats smarter. I tried it. It absolutely does wonders, restoring some connection between brain and eye that breaks down as you age. This one made a major difference for me. As in MAJOR. $5.50 for a five-month supply at Beyond A Century.
How is that possible? It represents an important major food group, like Coca-Cola and fine, hand-rolled, imported cigars.
Is nothing sacred?
Fabulous menu, carlo3b....but unfiltered Camels? They actually sound wonderful--if you cannot get unfiltered cigarettes from Cuba or Turkey, which are aromatic beyond belief.
Do you really smoke? I quit last February, cold turkey, for lent and stayed off them since then. A little help from Wellbutrin for the first month, then no problem. Still, the occasional mention of a good cigarette after a delightful dinner stirs those senses again.

Another rum-raisin fan here. The ice cream is so horribly calorific that I sometimes just soak raisins in rum and eat them for dessert or snacks--fat free, far fewer calories, nice little kick....
