I have come across, (in the Japanese language), the directing of Japanese in Japan (foreign nationals/small contributions) to stateside contribution websites for the HOWARD DEAN FOR PRESIDENT campaign.
The Japanese site is located located at:
http://web.sfc.keio.ac.jp/~lune1978/mt/archives/000218.html
The post is from mid-August, but is still up. You will need a font/browser and Japanese language comprehension capabilities to understand the solicitation. This report follows research provided to FREE REPUBLIC in August 2003 [ http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/953876/posts ] also exposing the DENNIS KUCINICH campaign (which is still openly soliciting in Japanese FOREIGN CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS), on the internet in Japan. This also follows Matt Drudge's recent expose on some Democrat candidates engaged in this questionable practice. My translation synopsis follows below:
TOPICS: Breaking News; Crime/Corruption; Culture/Society; Foreign Affairs; Government; Japan; News/Current Events
KEYWORDS: 2004; 2004election; campaign; campaignfinance; cfr; clintonlegacy; contributions; corruption; crime; dean; democrats; democratscandals; donations; election2004; electionlaws; fec; feclaws; foreigndonations; foreigners; funnymoney; howarddean; illegalcontributions; japan; japanesefundraising; japangate; kucinich; mediabias; online; president; rattricks; stealthevote; thisneedslegs; tokyo; voterfraud

I'm amazed by the trendy left wing opinions of so many Japanese young people, what are sometimes called
shin jinrui---"a new human race" in Japan. I had one young woman working in my office as a translator about six years ago from Nemuro up Hokkaido way. Very nice young lady, conscientious, intelligent---what you expect from the Japanese. She was also to my consternation an enthusiast of the
Nihon Kyoosantoo---the Japanese Communist Party, which I was chagrined to learn is still in existence, and still as "anti-imperialist" (=anti-American) as ever.
Ironically, she wanted me to help her get permanent residence in the US. I advised her to find an American guy to marry her---she's probably done so by now...

I wouldn't doubt it. Although the Nihon Kyosantoo is a joke. Nevertheless the one thing I sided with them were they were pretty agressive on discovering public corruption and wasting of the people's money on illegal activities by Japanese corporations and politicians. I am sure their own robes were not spotless white, though.

I have found, just today (Friday), even more nefarious overseas foreign political campaign cash contribution collecting web portals, in Japanese in Tokyo, for Candidates DEAN and KUCINICH.
Will try to translate/post in greater detail over the weekend! Interestinggggggg.....hmmmmm......

And one of these now invoves the CHINESE. Uncovered just about 30 minutes ago.
A Red Chinese "academic" in the United States (Silicon Valley to be exact) publically encouraging, openly on the Net, Japanese involvement in the campaign for Kucinich. A foreign national based in the USA, heading up a 501(c)3 TAX EXEMPT organization at that! Using his official leadership title of the organization and their website (in Japanese). This should blow the lid off of some dark doings, IMHO.....

11 CFR 100.4(a). Foreign Nationals. "Contributions from foreign nationals who do not have permanent residence in the United States (i.e., those without green cards) are prohibited. Additionally, foreign nationals may not make contributions in connection with any election, including state and local elections."
Thanks again. Bears repeating.

Liberal elite money so outweighs donations from ordinary citizens, that now they're going after foreign elitist money.
Is this why libs talk the "we are citizens of the world" talk? Corrupt donations from all the world's "special" interest? One world for the rich liberal elite's of all countries? Lovely. Totally totalitarian. It's been tried. The pudding's always thuggish.
Saddam would have cheerfully given Dems millions for an antiwar Dean. What will North Korea kick in to Democrat coffers? Are Dems getting bored with selling themselves to the highest American special interest bidder? Calling rich elitist thugs the world over - the bidding is on...
That's just it, the rats are finally realizing that their message is way out of step with most of America and need to broaden their financial base.

This lines up with Rush Limbaugh yesterday.
He said that the DEMOCRATS and LIBERALS cry and whine that their MESSAGE IS NOT BEING HEARD.
He counters and says, PRECISELY!! we have done everything to get their message out. It HAS been heard, by Americans....And they don't want it! They rejected it!"
It is only logical, then, that they have to expand their base of support (since Americans won't go for them) to foreign contributors like this through various websites overseas.
My how I hope Limbaugh's researchers (and other talk show hosts) see this FR site here today in prep for the radio show and tie in the FOREIGN CONTRIBUTIONS TO DEAN, KUCINICH and CLARKE being orchestrated overseas into the issue of the overall lack of the Democrats' 2004 message of weakness and negativity (no solustions, just complaining) to resonate with Americans back home!!

Mornin' ! I just did a Google Search to look for a Dennis Kucinich pic I saw on DU. Someone on FR linked to there and I wish I had kept the picture I saw posted over there. It was a picture of the back of a man, and written on the back of his shirt was:
"Dennis Kucinich is STILL God" ...
Those people at DU are deranged.

Yet another reason to call into question liberals' patriotism, which they so vociferously and hypocritically defend.
Reminds me of when I lived in West Los Angeles a couple of decades ago (near Soviet aka Santa Monica) and was arguing with a leftie of the kind that grow on trees up there about the placement of intermediate range missiles in central Europe to counter the Soviets. When I exasperatedly asked him, "Don't you care about the national defense of the United States??", he replied haughtily, indignantly and triumphantly, "I consider myself a CITIZEN OF THE WORLD!!!!! The peace of the world is more important than the defense of this country!"
I note in closing that the Japanese poster which AmericanInTokyo reproduced regarding Kucinich in #124 touts that guy as the "Presidential candidate who will provide peace for America and the world."
