MY favorite: President Bush sends his regards: I love our troops, there families and our Commander-in-Chief. I have never been so proud to be an AMERICAN than I was when Saddam was captured. A great day for our troops and our country. As someone here said our TROOPS upstaged President Bush's thanksgiving Baghdad trip. And I bet there is no more proud than Our Commander-in-Chief. I would also like to know how President Bush's Father feels right now. Bet he is proud man today also. THANK GOD FOR ANSWERING OUR PRAYS, for our troops to be lead to Saddam. To GOD we give glory ! !

This is my favorite: Regards from President Bush.

WOO HOO!4th ID...We Got Him!It's a great time to be alive. We few Freepers...joining the Iraqi bloggers and others to bury the enemy press, lol.
Did you stop by the blogger thread? If the press reported accurately, if the world knew what the Iraqi people were saying before, during and after we removed Saddam, our troops and Pres. Bush would be honored as heroes internationally, and Chirac, Clinton and Kofi rightly shamed and shunned. Ah...I try not to think of them.
For Diogenesis's thread:
IRAQI 'BLOGGERS' SHARE THEIR JOY AND THANKS TO THE U.S. ~ ["Read it first hand before the media twist"] ~ 12/15/03 | fight_truth_decay
And the sheer happiness of Omar, author of the blog Iraq the Model:
The big brother in a small hole
Horrraaaaa
It's the justice day.
I'm speechless.
I'm crying.
The tyrants' hour has finally came. I went down to the streets to share the joy with my brothers. This is our day, the day of all the oppressed and good people on earth. Tears of joy filled the eyes of all the people. Saddam, the coward, hides in a hole, shaking in fear from being captured. Not a single bullet was fired, without any resistance, God, he was even cooperative! The mighty tyrant, who exploited all our country's fortune for his personal protection, surrenders like the cowered I expected him to be. Yes, he should be prosecuted in Iraq. We will not allow anything else. We want to see him in a cage bending more and more, humiliated more and more, just as he forced all the Iraqis to bend to him, like they were his slaves. But we will not be like him, we will give him a fair trail, and he will get just what he deserves, although I have no idea what does he really deserve..

This whole thread is breathtaking, especially when one considers the historical signifigence of current events. Thank you, which is admittedly inadequate in light of the many months during which you provided us with real pics and information about the Iraqi war.
I am so overwhelmed with our goodness, our inate ability to do the right thing, the tenacity and professionalism of our military, and our ability to prevail in the face of overwhelming adversity from without and within.
I am bursting with pride at being a 3rd generation Swedish, Scott, German, Swiss American! American!!!!!
