I was suggesting to another freeper earlier that - somebody ought to start a thread to compile all examples today of disgusting, evil liberal spinning on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, etc. It was disgusting from the very beginning of the news of the capture.
An example stated on NewsMax; "Time Magazine columnist Joe Klein suggested that another 9/11 attack could revitalize Democrat hopes of defeating Bush next November. "This election, more than any other I've covered, is out of the hands of the politicians and in the hands of the events that take place in the world," he noted. "All it would take, God forbid, would be one [domestic terrorist attack] - not even on the level of the World Trade Center. You know, say they take out an elementary school or a movie theater or a shopping mall. "That could change everything," Klein predicted.
Klein was almost outrightly asking for something awful to happen, just for the Democrats' benefit. Somebody start a thread where any freeper who witnessed this stuff, writes it down. It was pathetic!! It would make a very illuminating thread!
..........
So now, I decided to start it myself. I was up this morning even before I posted third on the first thread on the capture, "Saddam Hussein Captured." And since then, I have heard and seen numerous lefty reporters and politicians say the most disgusting things in order to diminish the troops' success, the possible success of the Administration, and, at the same time, to try to boost their evil intent.
Here is hoping that every freeper who witnessed an outrageous, nasty comment today, would please include it here. If we collect all their comments in one place, it may serve to clearly illustrate their real damaging desires, and their outright evil . Thanks for any help.

I'm listening to Leslie Stahl interviewing Rummy right now.Did you see the very beginning of the interview? I wrote this a little while ago about her.
Leslie Stahl on 60 Minutes interviewing Rummy (the very first question)............"does this NOW mean "Mission Accomplished""? Cute, Leslie. Real coy! Your little pathetic zinger. What an a**! Leslie Stahl, what a jerk! Had to sneak the aircraft carrier in there. What a jerk!!

Andy Lonney made a round about statement about Dictators coming in all forms including the Patriot act. Judy Woodruff looked for a coal lining in the cloud.

I bet little Tom is DEEPLY saddened.
On a good note, I went shopping a little today and then to play golf. Everyone I saw said something like: "Hi, did you hear they caught Sadaam?" and they were all grinning ear to ear.

She told me that was no big deal and it did not mean anything. Thats the new spin. Up untill yesterday it was "WHERE'S SADDAM??? WHERE'S SADDAM??? WHERE'S SADDAM??? WHERE'S SADDAM???"
Now it's: "No big deal. He's not important."

Leslie Stahl on 60 Minutes interviewing Rummy (the very first question)............"does this NOW mean "Mission Accomplished""?I missed that part, but overall, she was about as transparent as she could be. She's obviously with the "I hope we lose the war so a Democrat can be elected" crowd. "Disgusting" is a good word. So is "shallow". "Objective reporter" is not a good description of Stahl.
Oh well, Rummy made her look like a high school girl, IMO. The adults are in charge.
One thing I respect about Rummy, when he doesn't know the answer to a question, he says "I don't know" or "We don't know". Count the number of times you heard that from someone like Madeline Notbright or Bill Xlinton. If they didn't know, they talked in circles to make it sound like they knew, without saying anything at all.

I know. After I heard this stuff being parroted back to me this morning by a member of my extended family, I began to hear the mantra being repeated on the top of the hour ABC news breaks on the radio as I drove around town and through other mainstream media sources. What was disturbing to me was to see how well and how fast this spin worked on someone I know and who's only exposure to the story had been a little network television coverage early this morning. Quite frankly, the liberal media is so good at this it gives me the creeps.

I was switching channels this morning, just to see the what kind of "take" CNN was giving. The stupid reported (don't know her name)made a remark about that "mission accomplished" banner. Totally inappropriate. The bit&^ just had to get that jab in. I almost threw something at the tv and screamed..."the soldiers put that up, you idiot". Instead I turned back to FoxNews.

She's been sounding like a parrot for 10 yr.s now and trust me she scares me too death also. back in 96 or so we had a political death match over abortion.she didnt speak to me for several yr's.
I had to let her know what i thought on the matter and she did not like that at all as most people around her tend to shake their heads and say oh thats just how she is you know... well ive always marched to the tune of a different plumber and it went over like a horse turd in a punchbowl. but i didnt care and while i was at it she got earfull of my opinion about her boyfriend BJClinton.
So imagine my surprise when a couple of yr's ago they needed help and couldnt really live alone any longer and the both of them called my husband and i ??!! none of the other kids wanted them because she's quite a miserable person and a liberal to boot. i laid the law down about politic's at the beginning ,that and they must have seperate quarters from us.
so far it's ok intill she starts her parotting and bush bashing, but i let hubby take care of her and oh he's good! he can have her smacked down in less than a minute and all is peaceful again.
seriously people like her believe in all kinds of free speech for themselves but you had better shut up if your a conservative,no free speech for you. but she likes having a roof over her head so she keeps her tounge in check most times.

Speaking of the way the left media is struggling with the capture of Saddam this Monday morning, I ran into this headline
GEM on my city's ultra lib Pittsburgh Post Gazette website - get a load of this!
"A Subdued Bush Settles Old Family Score With Capture"
So, that's what it was all about? God help us!
Any other angry, delusional lefty Monday newspaper headlines are welcome!

I heard this [expletive deleted] say this yesterday morning. My lower jaw hit the floor!
Between what I was reading on DU, and hearing from the media, there is absolutely no doubt that we are at war.
These people are our enemies.
