It's almost impossible to judge the content of a person's character when it is constantly painted over with color and nationality is preceeded by ethnicity. .ie 'African American'.

I plan to add Free Republic to my blog. The cyberworld is very sensitive, I see.

I hope Jesse and Al both run as independents.

I don't get this. When I post full articles people complain. When I excerpt people complain. I give up.

SOFTBALL ALERT!
How about the way that the NAACP support politicians who oppose the NEA agenda of tightening their grip on public schools and the oceans of money poured into them by liberal politicians. But if you meant, "How are REPUBLICANS undermining blacks", I can't think of a single example.

Has there ever been any proof given, ever, to substantiate their claims? The more pertinent question is: Has there ever been any proof needed, ever, to substantiate their claims?

From the article . . .
The group is also paying special attention to states where the Black voting-age population is high enough to mean the difference between victory and defeat. The ministers are encouraging individual parishioners to register at least seven people every few days and equally important, get them to show up at the polls.
The states, with their 2000 Black turnout rates in parenthesis, are: Florida, with a Black voting age population (BVAP) of 76.2 percent (43.2 percent); Illinois with a BVAP of 66.8 percent (67 percent); Michigan, with a BVAP of 67.6 percent (60.9 percent); Missouri with a BVAP of 67.9 percent, (68.2 percent); Ohio, with a BVAP of 67.4, (53.7 percent); Pennsylvania, with a BVAP of 68.1 percent (61.3 percent); and Wisconsin, with a BVAP of 70.8 percent (62 percent).
Is this right? These numbers seem quite high to me.

I'm so sick of this barbara streisand! Blacks in Florida, presumably those most angered by the results of the 2000 election, voted at a level above their proportional number in Florida in 2002. The brother of their supposed hated enemy way running for reelection, Jeb won by 14 points against the stooge that lil teri wanted.
Where was the "anger"? Where is the "anger"?
Let the Blacks continue down this road and when they get to the bottom of the well, they will find themselves standing in the cold with a few old commie rats.

Does this mean the military vote is going to get even too?
How about the people in the Florida panhandle in the "other" time zone, they must want to get even too?
How about people in the redzones in FL, they almost had their votes washed away by a two democrat laden comittees in south florida?
This is just a push to register more black voters. The can't be more polarized so they have to add voters. Kweezee Enfume said enough just before 2000. Its part of their "unlikely" voter strategy.

Their anger was on a bus from dade to broward so they could vote twice.

No Democrat is nominate for president without the black vote. Dean is apparently about to be nominated with very little black support.

**To make conversation. Are there only certain articles that should be posted?** Actually, there are only certain publications shat should be exerpted. You are required to exerpt only publications like the L.A. Times, Washington Post, Chicago Sun-Times, however don't worry, FreeRepublic's system will force you to exerpt it when it is required. Otherwise for the convenience of the reader and continuity of the article, post the entire article unless prohibited by FR. If you will notice, I was not the only critic of your exerpting.

I second it!
...What's that saying? If you keep doing the same thing you've been doing over and over, you'll get the same results. Until Black America realizes this, they'll continue to get mediocre leadership from their elected officials. This makes me even more grateful than ever to have come form the Dark Side over a decade ago.
