December 10, 2003 -- Jilted Sen. Joe Lieberman yesterday said he got blindsided by former running mate Al Gore's decision to dump him and undermine his 2004 campaign by endorsing Democratic front-runner Howard Dean for president.
"I'm not going to talk about Al Gore's sense of loyalty this morning," Lieberman told NBC's "Today" show after getting the heave-ho from his onetime pal.

Its politics. Did Holy Joe really expect Algore to endorse someone like him with zero chance of winning the Democratic nomination next year? Welcome to the club of real world politics, which Algore knows about better than his one time running mate Joe Lieberman.

What else did Joe believe was any good about Al Gore? Guess this is why the rats call Joe the "Concience Of The Senate" and not the "Brains"...

My only surprise is that Al Sharpton hasn't called alGore a racist, yet, for endorsing Dean....

Lieberman's a loser. Why did the inventor of the internet pick Lieberman to run with him in the first place? I forget.

"It's a measure of Al Gore that he didn't have the decency or the courtesy to call Joe Lieberman. He can endorse whoever he wants - but to do this without talking to Joe is unforgivable," said Lieberman's former chief-of-staff Michael Lewan. BUMP

Al conned Joe into playing his game in 2000. Now Joe lives with the crowd that he thought would take him to the promised land.
Isn't there a saying about "honor among thieves." Caveat emptor.

Another notch in the other Al's belt. After the Sharpton appearance on Saturday Night Live, Bore Gore realized he had to head the Rev off at the pass. Even though the deal was done in Harlem, the stronghold of the Sharpton jauggernaut, Gore and Dean now will have to endure the charge of rascism by the offended Al. Woe be to them that cross the irrepressible Al's path to the White House.

To get the VP nod from Al, Lieberman did a total reversal of many of his positions.

Welcome to the club of real world politics, which Algore knows about better than his one time running mate Joe Lieberman. Then why did he choose Joe Lieberman to be his running mate in the first place? Someone from a state that wasn't an automatic win might have compensated for losing his home state.

Then why did he choose Joe Lieberman to be his running mate in the first place? Because of Lieberman's religion.
