Good I can watch Gore be humiliated again! They both hate President Bush... no surprise there.

Lieberman spokesman Jano Cabrera said Gore did not tell the Connecticut senator about the endorsement.I wonder if Joe Lieberman regrets his decision to "deconstruct" himself to run with a man who couldn't even give him a courtesy call before slapping him in the face. I would feel bad for Lieberman, but then he is the one who sold himself out for the opportunity to get in the gutter with Gore.

Dean doesn't have support from the calculating, compromising establishment. He's got support from the idealists. They won't allow him to abandon him that way. Besides, he thinks it's part of his sizzle. He wants a Southern version of himself-- Bob Graham. John Breaux isn't a Southern version of Dean-- by a long shot.

Gore's move is a push against Clinton's power grab so it is anti Clark.

Al is going to prep him for the debates, LOLOLOL!!!! Wonder if Al will loan Dean his imaginary Social Security "lock box" for the debates. That would be quite telling, as Al was quite enamored (of it).

I can't imagine Gore wanting to be Dean's VP. He wants to be Clinton-- that's what's in it for Gore. Boot Clinton out as the great Oracle, the King Maker. He'll claim the crown. He wants candidates to seek him out-- Chief Consigliere to all the Democrap mob bosses and thugs.
It's win, win for Gore. He gets his place in Democrap mythology if Dean wins. He gets Dean's base's support in 2008, if Dean loses. It's the best political move he could make. You'll see a real bump in Iowa that starts to put Gephardt behind in the same way Kerry is in NH. He'll then focus on knocking out Clark and Edwards and Lieberman in the South in February. Gore, Dean, Jesse Jackson, Jr. and the rest will barnstorm that region and Dean will pick up big chunks of black voters and will beat Edwards, Clark, and Lieberman. Dean doesn't want to beat Gephardt and Kerry. He'd like the others to see the polls showing Dean with this in the bag down South and drop out, too. With Kerry and Gephardt, he wants them out before any vote is cast-- that's the chutzpah of Howard Dean.
He wants them to concede before the race is even held. It's hilarious. I think he may pull it off. Dean wants to beat these guys as early as possible and Dean has the killer instinct to do it. He's not going to let them keep the game close. He wants to be able to go home with the W at half-time.

The more I read into this and listen to the pundits, they're saying what you've been saying all along.
As one pundit suggested, this endorsement essentially was the big "kiss off" and shedding of the Clinton shadow that's been haunting Gore ever since he became Clinton's VP.
This will further infuriate the Clinton camp who's eyeing the prize in 2008 if Gore seemingly sticks a wedge in the works somehow and tosses his hat into the ring.
This whole endorsement is hilarious. It will be absolutely fun seeing all the key players involved start slugging it out with one another for the coveted prize of being the "leader of the band".

Thanks for the link to DU's site. OMG,I had NO idea Demorats/liberals were THAT stupid.
I guess that answers the question I always ask myself. (Do people really believe what these liberal whack-job politicos spout?)

ooooh, I think you got it!! Just like Gore to back someone only if he thinks he will win...Dean will use Gore as his personal attack dog to rip the Prez..and his payment will be a spot in Dean's cabinet or perhaps the VP slot...Gore and Dean...you know, neither one of them knows who they really are...and both are liars...maybe Gore can facilitate the internet even moreso for Dean....why this just keeps getting better and better!!! The candidates are looking more like the cartoon characters in the funny papers.woooooeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

How 'bout that fudging on the 'firing' of Clark? I personally loved seeing Clark trying to 'splain' that!!
To: scoastie
Clark was trying to do a Clinton and explain that being asked to retire wasn't the same as being fired. It was torture watching it. He needs to leave the Clintonian tactics to the professionals.
To: RWR8189
Wow. Howard the Duck-the-Draft F-ing Dean for President. Is this a great country or what?
To: plain talk
agree...did you hear what Gen. Schwarzkoff said about Clark's firing? Pretty 'damming'......Clark is just so sucky-a**...he is a Clinton man to a tee!!! Pretty boy Clark is all spin (with the highly paid crew the Clintons hired) and no substance....
To: GraniteStateConservative
I think algore is saving it up for...for....~holds nose and vomits...heilary.
Clinton/Gore again. One of my personal predictions for 2008.
