Hillary Demands Nicknames for 2004 Election

Having survived a Sunday of insufferable Sunday Morning Kiss-up Talk Shows and The Demented Hillary everywhere, I am weary.

It was mentioned yesterday by many on many threads, that it is fair to say that our feelings for her cause many of us great discomfort and exhaustion. We have come to know that it can be quite unpleasant to harbor such negative feelings for anyone, and even can be withering, and outrightly consumptive of our health.

So today, I was pondering a possible way to remove a little of that uncomfortable disdain for Hillary from our chests and from our fatigued minds.

The large assortment of "nicknames" for Hillary which I have seen here over the years is quite impressive. When I did a search for a possible list that may have been compiled previously, I came up empty. So in an attempt to make a list of many of them, I ask for any of your whimsical suggestions

This little exerise may help to diminish some of the pain of yesterday and also of the past 11 or so grueling years!

Being aware that poking fun at her will solve none of our very serious political problems should she run next year (she's already running), I ask you if you have any endearing names for Hillary Clinton.

This could be therapeudic.

Check out the word "CLINQUANT". I found this word earlier today in my Thesaurus and dictionary, quite by chance. It's amazing how fitting it is to the Clintons.

Rika, your talents are needed here, forthwith!

Why John, I'm so flattered!

Just to show my appreciation, I have this scarf I've been knitting.

Perhaps you'd like it?

I'm afraid it's monogrammed already, though. Maybe you could just wear it inside out.

Unless you'd like me to add your monogram too?

Plus the word Clinquant contains all the letters to the word originally intended by Ms. Malia. :o)

That's the hardest I laughed in years. I didn't notice that. Isn't this amazing. If I must say it myself, I think this word CLINQUANT could be a new FR "insider" word to describe Hillary.

It not only means, fake, cheat, sham, fraud, phony, imposter, but it has all those letters originally intended, and, starts with a "c" and ends in a "t" and doesn't rhyme with cat. Pretty good.

"CLINQUANT"

ROTFL! What a great word. Most appropriate. We should work at popularizing its usage when referring to the creature.

Of course, "psycho-b***h fron hell" works too.

American Heritage dictionary defines it as : Imitation gold leaf; tinsel; glitter. I guess that's where they get the fake sparkle from.

I was amused to see that the letters compromising the original intended word, even occured in the same order embedded in the word CLINQUANT.

I can tell that you view the English language as I do -- as a playground for the mind.

Say, what's your age and marital status? ;^)

Agreed, what name could be more fitting for Hillary? It begins with a 'c', ends with a 't', and doesn't rhyme with 'cat' (as LisaMalia points out).

And as Lazamataz points out, within it are all the really essential letters.

And, it has the most fitting meaning (according to my 1970 Roget's Thesaurus) --- fake, cheat, sham, fraud, phony, imposter!

Can't get any better or more appropriate!

I do love words. Without them, well, I'd be speechless. Arrghh! No I really appreciate words.

I'll be 57 in January, am married (one time-30 years last Monday), and am male.

I can't wait until The Clinquant comes to my city if she runs for President. I'll be there with a few No CLINQUANT signs held high and proud.
