What's the New "Pager" Icon About? (Vanity Request for Help)

I noticed this morning that a little speaker icon had popped up next to my screen name, and when I let the browser settle on it, the word "pager" appears. When I click on it, it just takes me to my comments, same as clicking on "New Messages."
Could someone please explain this innovation? Thanks.

Yep you get one page of current post and them progress into 2002.... or that's at least how mine is functioning....

I think it's tied to the 'Icon' pager that has installed.... It was working okay yesterday as I was chasing some post from a day or two ago on mine list.

We are being erased. Slowly. After the thread yesterday where people noticed how many posts they'd made and didn't think they had a life outside of FR, that might be by popular request. ;-)

Exactly. As I explain when in reply to one of my Today Show posts someone asks how I stand it/why I bother, etc., I watch out of a combo of masochism and the belief it's worthwhile to keep an eye on what the liberal media are up to.

the pager icon is nothing that needed "installed". Its merely a link that was added to the top of the page.

I would imagine John may have made some changes and while making changes to the backend, added the link as a little visible "enhancement".

A man in Milwaukee didn't click it, and the next week was struck by a 50-lb. round of sharp cheddar falling off a high shelf.
A man in Eau Claire clicked it 12 times, and that night the Green Bay Packers cheerleaders stopped by his house for some holiday cheer.
