Re: "I would suggest seeing as few movies as possible....." Good thinking. About three years ago on FR someone suggested just not patronising Hollywood. This will hit harder than anger which just goes over their heads. Still, that anger is good for people to vent their feelings.
Herewith my record of attendance since then. The Count of Monte Christo Very so, so, maybe a pass. Gangs of New York Best recreation of low life deeps and scenery I have ever seen. Historically innacurate though. I am pondering seeing the Mel Gibson film, also The Sylvia Plath Story. Yep, they aint had but $16 from me in three years. LOL

just not patronising Hollywood. "Just say 'no' to Hollywood."
Sounds good to me.

I'll soon be starting work for a marketing solutions company that partners with some national chain stores-in this case Best Buy; my specialty will be working in the DVD department at a local outlet in San Diego.
...It will be interesting to see how much each release actually sells, since I'll be responsible for making daily reports via computer. In short, I'll be seeing the bottom line in action.

Can you seriously believe there is balance in Hollywood? Out of 140 celebs who are on our boycott list, not a single one supports the troops. The article mentions Gary Sinise, Arnold, Bruce as the only real mainstream stars to support our troops by visiting Iraq. This hardly reflects balance, as you try to maintain...
Tonite there is a "Hate Bush" rally in Hollywood. Where's the "Love Bush" rally in Hollywood?

my theatre time has diminished...I wonder if the new Tom Cruise movie will be the "Johnny Taliban " story?
