I'm surprised it took 'em this long to start their whining and hand-wringing.

Per Ann Coulter--the Democrats are the party of treason.
There is no longer a need to provide proof of that statement.

Hey, but look, guys! All Dean has to do is take some Doan's Pills and go to any mountainous area of Iraq to show his support for the troops. I'm sure there some good slopes there.
I wonder if you need a lift ticket up by the Turkish Frontier.
Be Seeing You,

Of course this silly piece was written by a writer for the New York Times. They have already been whinning because none of their reporters were allowed to go--and worse, yet, they didn't even know about the trip.
How great is this!

"David Axelrod, a senior adviser to Senator John Edwards of North Carolina, described the visit as a "daring move and great politics," but added: "I think these kids need more. I'm sure they were buoyed by his coming, but they need more.'"
I'm really annoyed by this considering Mr. Edwards didn't vote to fund the Iraq Operation. It's clear that these people will say and do anything. We are dealing with people without any morals or shame. It's sickening.

"They made their bed with that `Mission Accomplished' trip, and that's going to be around for a long time," he said. "That's not the last ad you will see with that. I will guarantee you that whoever the nominee is will have that image up." Talk about throwing B'rer Rabbit into the briar patch!
It is sooooo funny to me .... the 'rats were outraged at the idea of President Bush using that image in his ads. Now he doesn't need to ..... they're doing it for him ..... hehehe! Bush doesn't even need to spend his money on ads with him on the aircraft carrier .... they're doing it for him on their dime. Is that not delicious?

And now, in a single day, Mr. Bush may have managed to supplant what has become the single most problematic image of him in this war: The picture of him swaggering across an aircraft carrier in front of banner reading "Mission Accomplished." This is the single most insultng line in the article... and it wasn't a quotation from a leading DemocRAT... oh, wait, The New York Times IS a leading DemocRAT!
To: ServesURight
Bush is taking on what the Democrats think is their "big" issue, Iraq, and shoving it back in their faces.

This is a lose-lose for Democrats. Clinton visited the troops in Kosovo on Thanksgiving and Hillary is in Afganistan now. There is nothing they can say against Bush's trip without being called on it.
So all they have is their usual "we support the troops but are againts the war" stance, another schizophrenic position, pretty much like every postion they try to define during the presidential debates.

The fact that they think the carrier landing can be turned into a negative for the president proves how delusional they are.
