Actor James Brolin Breaks His Silence on "The Reagans" Movie.
(New YOrk, NY) - Actor James Brolin has broken his silence about the controversial movie "The Reagans." The film, which has not yet aired, began to generate heavy publicity after Brolin's famous wife, Barbra Streisand, issued some harsh words against CBS for pulling the plug on the movie.
During an interview, Brolin defended his wife by addressing the rumor that Streisand's Hollywood weight played a role in the tone of the script. Brolin said, "She was only on the set a short time and had not read the script. They're constantly inventing things about her and this was just another."
"The Reagans" chronicles the personal and historic challanges of America's 40th presidnet. BRolin starts as Ronald Reagan and actress Judy Davis plays his wife, Nancy. The movie will air this Sunday on SHowtime at 8p.m. Eastern Time.

"they're constantly inventing things about her"
Jimmy feels badly that "they're" trashing his beloved and vicious wife who's able to defend herself. Jimmy does NOT feel badly about trashing a sick ex President who cannot defend himself. Hey, that's what being a democrat is all about.

There was a quick clip (about 30 seconds or so) for the Reagan movie on Fox & Friends yesterday.
They show Nancy and Ronnie having dinner during the time they first started dating. Nancy is talking about her background and she says her father, Loyal Davis, is a famous brain surgeon and she then holds up her hands and brags that she got her hands from her father.
Here is a snippet from her biography:
When the future First Lady was six, her mother, Edith--a stage actress--married Dr. Loyal Davis, a neurosurgeon. Dr. Davis adopted Nancy, and she grew up in Chicago.
All the Reagan writers had to do is read her biography and they would know that Nancy would never have bragged that she got her hands from her stepfather.
After they showed this snippet, Fox & Friends had a spokesman from Showtime telling us how accurate the movie is on the portrayal of the Reagans.
Who did the research for this movie, Barbra Streisand?
Im also surprised no one at Fox & Friends caught this inaccuracy. I don't have the stomach to watch this movie. Accuracy in Media
Roger@aim.org
is interested in any other inaccuracies found in the movie. I figure if a 30 second clip has one, then the movie shoud have lots of them.

Oh Thank God! I was holding my breath waiting to hear what he might have to say. Why do we even spend time posting about these losers.

James Brolin sets the record: In a mere 26 words, using only two sentences he manages to tell eleven lies, make six distortions two mis-characterizations. It's a Streisand family record! Of course WJC still holds the officially recognized world record for prevarication, squeezing twenty four prosecutable instances of perjury into a single nod.

"Wahh! Barbara made me do it otherwise she threatened to hit me with her elephantine snout and cut me out of her will!! Waaah!!" "She also threatened to have sex with me."
To: Agnes Heep
"She also threatened to have sex with me." Oh no! Not that!
The ultimate punishment for the man who, in his pounds of greasepaint for his role as Reagan, looked nothing like Ronald Reagan.
In fact, he resembled nothing quite so much as the Penguin in Adam West's Batman series.

Is that all he had to say? Uh, I mean is that all SHE let him say?

Someone needs to tell Mr. Streisand we dont care about his or his Madames opinion. But if he wishes they can make a movie on the Clintons and let Bill play himself and wife Barbara play Monica!

I hope that Ms. Striesand's boy-toy is equally outspoken once she tires of him and drops him for a newer model. And since Babs has a track record of discarding her beaus (eg. Elliott Gould and Jon Peters) it's safe to think that it's only a matter of time. I figure this guy could fill a couple of issues of National Enquirer with what he knows about her Highness and her foibles. Should make for fascinating reading...
